  • I can only speak to my experience and how my body reacts, but if I don't eat close to the calories MFP tells me is my goal, I don't lose weight. When I am stuck at a weight for awhile, I really focus on eating close to the total calories allowed. Wish I had great advice for you, but that is what works for me.:ohwell:
  • I did 3 miles this morning. That puts me at 9 miles for the week so far. I plan to walk tomorrow and Saturday too. I have already began to notice a difference in things!!! Thanks for starting this.

  • I am finishing up on the 30 Day Shred and will start 6 week to a 6 pack ab next. I love using my Wii also. I have done the challenges on Active, More Active and Active 2 and enjoyed all of them. We hope to get an elipitcal for Christmas, but we'll see what happens! :smile:
  • I was born and raised in Southeast Iowa (Burlington) and moved to Southwest Iowa (Shenandoah) in 2005. I now find myself living in Kansas, but will always be an Iowa girl. Go Hawks!!
  • I am the Clinic Coordinator for a small safety net clinic. I schedule the appointments for dental, medical, legal and mental health counseling. I also answer the phones, greet people that come in with donations, need supplies or need assistance with rent and utilities. Also any other jobs I am asked to do! :happy:

  • You don't have to eat all your calories. Make sure you are eating at least 1200 a day and you should be fine.
  • I don't lose weight easily - or so it seems. I had to stay positive and go by the way my clothes fit and what others saw. It is hard not to get discouraged, but if you stay at it, you will notice results. Concentrate on the way you feel, how you sleep and look for small changes that don't involve the scale! You can do this!
  • I went shopping at Old Navy and bought 3 shirts that fit! They were in the "ladies" section instead of the "women" or "plus". Haven't done that in FOREVER! :happy:
