This.. and I have :) I'm a photographer by trade, hobby and passion. I donate a fair bit of my time and materials to not only local animal charity ( with the local humane society taking pictures of the sweethearts needing homes, donating work or time for fundraisers, or at my vet office doing portraits for families who may…

we always did milk and cookies. I would leave carrots for the reindeer. The milk would always be mostly drank, with cookie crumbs on the plate. The carrots would just be gone completely (as Santa would take those up to the roof in his pocket)

Tim Horton's uses 18% table cream and 100% refined white sugar. In an XL there is between is about 3.5 tbsp of sugar and almost half a cup of cream (measured it out once rougly when i worked there). Pretty gross when you think about it.. but have you ever drank TimHo black? Even fresh just finished brewing you could repave…

I am part of a military fashioned fitness bootcamp. Way better results than moping around a gym trying to be motivated. Plus there is the added benefit of your platoon members become some of your best friends.

Rinsing also removes the bitter taste. I too throw it in everything. I make a killer vegetarian chili subbing quinoa in for ground beef

I'm in way colder climate than what you would have but layers is where it's at and I follow the rule of dress for 10 degrees warmer than it is. If you're going along at a good pace, then you will stay quite warm. I personally wear a long sleeve technical shirt and a fleece running jacket in the cold weather (for between…

I have a first generation Fitbit. I found mine accurately tracked my steps but I quickly "outgrew it" in my running training because i wanted more data about what i was doing. I still use the fitbit however when I know I'm going to have a particularly long or active "walking day" (ex. walking around Quebec City on vacation…

Yeah the broadway one is ok. I've only played it a handful of times i was so excited for it but meh. Playing wise it's more along the lines of JD1 however it has the 4 person choose your player option like JD3 however the routines are not varied enough between each character so you may get stuck being a backup dancer. It's…

It doesn't tell you calories burned but from my own experience when I throw myself into the game and rock out the best I can, an hour's worth of dancing is approx 500 calories.

more songs, better graphics, a bit different play (up to 4 players having different parts. solo play you can choose what "part" you want). You can earn rewards and unlock different types of play/songs, the game responds a bit better to motion, the choreography is a touch better. I have 1/2/3/Broadway and by far 2 & 3 are…

i posted this on another thread. now mind you they have updated the fitbit (i have one of the first models) but in general I don't think it's a very accurate device. I occasionally use it for sleep tracking and on vacations I'll wear it to track general mileage (as our vacations tend to be very walking heavy)

I'm totally jumping in on this because I now have the extra time/energy with shuffling my bootcamp schedule that I didn't in the JD2 challenge. Off to do Candice's new songs!

hahah she is and you'll curse her a blue streak the entire time you do it, but stick with it! you will see and get results!

It's really hard when you've got kids to balance everything that needs to get done. I would start by first making sure your eating habits are changing for the better (everyone in the house will benefit from this) and incorporating fun activities with the kids to get yourself moving every day. One fun thing I loved doing…

1)<3 for you taking control and wanting to make a difference in your life and health 2)I, as others have recommended, 100% feel you should first talk to your doctor. Let them help you get set up with the right professionals to help you figure out a plan for not only exercise but eating. Also have them do any…

Did an international (US/Canada) long distance relationship for 8 months. I would take the train from Detroit to Ottawa every other weekend or so, a few week long visits here and there. I moved to Ottawa in May 2001, engaged Nov01, married April02. it was hard leaving everything and everyone I knew behind and going through…

All that I have to give and then some for the past 5 years of his life. We were very much child-free when I got pregnant (on the pill) and it was very difficult decision for us to become parents. It was hard on our relationship in many ways but we came out stronger because of it and we love our son more than anything in…

My dad says I went to see ESB with him at the theater, I would have been three and I don't remember. I do remember however seeing RotJ when I was 6 in the theater with my dad and cousin. We just finished tonight watching A New Hope with our son who is 5 but he had seen all of the movies by the time he was 3. We're also…
