Rather than using flammable liquids, use fire starter sticks. Much more safe, work in any temperature and available most anywhere.

Franz Snideman (Revolution Fitness) and Mike Mahler both post excellent quality kettlebell workout videos. And they won't get you hurt. As far as those other videos.....I don't think there's enough room here to point out everything that's wrong.

My rule is you can wear what you want when you start paying for it. My son likes roomy clothes (like me), so I don't think skinny jeans are going to be an issue.

Although it's a favorite of the kettlebell community, the goblet squat can be done with a dumbell as well. Tons of examples available on youtube.

I use a product called Greens Plus. A tablespoon is comparable to 4 servings of vegetables. That being said, if you only mix it with water it tastes like *kitten*. I blend it in with the protien shake that I drink daily.

The kettlebell swing (properly performed) is a hip hinge exercise. The deadlift is....wait for it.....a hip hinge as well. The primary focus being the posterior chain. I would also add that a visit to a chiropractor or ART could do nothing but help, along with rest.

Good mornings and sumo deadlifts are primarily the same movement, a hip hinge. Hip...not low back.

A properly executed kettlebell swing will have no ill effects on one's lumbar spine. If it hurts your low back, you're doing it wrong.

You can buy foam tube pipe insulation at most any home improvement store that will work without spending a bunch of money, or wrap the bar with a hand towel. As for a name? Not sure. I personally prefer to adapt my body to the equipment without padding, etc. but I know that doesn't work for everyone.

I checked the rules of both USA Powerlifting and N.A.S.A (Natural Athlete Strength Association) and both say: Causes for Disqualification of a Dead Lift 7. Allowing the bar to return to the platform without maintaining control with both hands. That's what I go by....
