People not understanding proper hand signals. People biking on sidewalks and not obeying the correct cycling laws/courtesy. People in front of me at a stop sign on their cell phone, making me balance on my bike, making it seem like it is a life changing decesion to go left, right or straight. Peoples knees.

I usually ride solo, because I bike commute. On the weekends I hit the trails with friends if they are free. When I get my road bike I am hoping that I can find a small group that I can ride with.

Love riding on the road!!!! Just make sure to ride like you are invisible, meaning act like you aren't there/always be on the defensive side of it. Make sure you also know the proper hand signals and that you learn the bike first, don't just go out and ride if you have never rode that certain bike. Good luck!

Prunes can help. You can also drink some hot chocolate. Soak in a hot hot hot tub.

You work at a gym, you should now that it does. Calisthnics are used in the Military and some foreign companies to get the people started in the day.
-
Crap, not hungry. I'm always full its been this way for over three weeks.
-
You do have killer legs! I loooove legs. You should get a bike and go attack some hills.
-
DING DING! As a general rule, you go by the HRM if it has a chest strap because it is monitoring your heart rate all the time. Machines go by algorithms and is a "guess" for the information you put in. I say go with the HRM always, even though they won't be 100%, it won't be so far off that it would make much of a…

I applaud you for getting back on the bike, even though you have fallen. I'm a huge fan of bike commuting and again applaud you for wanting to do this. As for helping you, it may be a little embarrising at first, but maybe have someone help you like when you were a kid, A brother, sister any loved one physically able to…

It's all over the country!!! Just push thru it. It was 111 with heat index here today. Just get a camelback and move on! Yeeee haaaaaaw

eh, doesn't really matter... You are also 5'10" which is tall for a women, so your 150 is spread out. Now if you were 5'2" 150, you would look bigger because of the frame.

mapmyfitness.com is a good site also.
-
I may join you for a few "legs" of this trip! Since it is about two years away that is plenty of time to plan! Thanks for the heads up.

If you feed the body junk, it will want junk. Feed the body healthy it will want healthy. It's about re-learning what you should be eating and not that "junk".

I agree with Chii, got mine at Meijers and have had it for about 3 weeks and it works great. Even had it at a water park for 8 hours and it worked flawlessly.

If it's a dark heavy lager yes!!! Agreed!

Chocolate milk helps a ton! So does drinking a nice warm beer! You could also get a bike. No/Low impact on the joints. Great cardio and if you are in decent shape and live about 15 miles from work great way to commute.
-
Nice, may I ask what you did to achieve this?
-
I've got to say cycling! Like real bike riding! Nothing beats it, you can't get bored it's like being a little kid again!
-
Get a real bike! Cycling is great, you get to see so much more of cities and country sides. Plus it is low impact. Problem is, you need a bike, hahaha.
-
<--- Loves beer a ton!
