You can buy extra at the start of the race if you want, not to worry.

I think it's great! I hate wearing bras and now I don't have to, just camis and tanks for me!

I used the scrub as long as it took to clear up, and then made sure I didn't use any creams or oils on my trunk. My front was the worst area for some reason. I found that the cheapie St. Ives Apricot for sensitive skin worked well. The baking soda worked the best, but stings a bit when the redness is still there.

Occasionally I will get a heat rash, which sounds similar to what you describe. Usually the sweat gland is blocked for some reason, either a body cream, soap, or sunscreen. It actually got so I couldn't wear sunscreen when I was running outside. What worked best for me was using a body scrub to open the pores, then…

I hardly ever wear makeup. I stopped years ago when I started grooming dogs. Every little fluffy hair sticks to your face when it's made up. Yuck. Now I'm used to my natural face.

I recommend Bio-K+ probiotics and Natural Calm (magnesium supplement). Easy to take, and gentle results. Metamucil and All Bran just gave me a terrible, bloated belly.

Running outside tends to be harder, so I would say just slow down and focus on your breathing until you can make the transition.

Some days the energy level just isn't there. I find a few days before my period, my heart rate is higher, my energy level lower, and I'm out of breath faster. I just do my best or sub a yoga day. The scale also goes up at this point.

Good for you. Put the above phrase somewhere you can see it every day. You are kinder than I am. I would have told her to take a hike and never looked back.

There is a very cool app called Saferunner that tracks your running with GPS, and when you pull the headphones out of the jack, texts your emergency contact that you need help and takes a video recording of what is immediately happening.

I lost about 27 lbs just with diet, but my calories were usually around 1200 with a treat day of 1500 one day a week. I had started anti-depressants though that really suppressed my appetite. Now, with intense exercise 6 days a week and an active job, that calorie goal is way too low for me.

Oh, I would like to have quads. And calf muscles. My top leans out but my bottom doesn't wanna.

Ditto on Combat. I love the vibe, so much fun. I'm a TurboFire fan too, but I think Combat gives me as good a cardio workout without beating my body up as much.

When we did the Colour Me Rad, two of the colour stations were wet stations. Coloured water is sprayed on you, so make sure your phone is not going to get wet.

I agree with the above. Stop worrying about your pace right now and increase your run/walk time until you are at 10 and 1's for all your runs. Then increase your pace for one run per week.

What do you like to do? Do you like dancing, kickboxing, weightlifting? Beachbody has lots of options for beginners, some more expensive than others.

Nobody is perfect. Skinny isn't perfect. Muscular isn't perfect. Eat real food, not processed junk. Find activities and exercise that you actually like to do, sweat, and have fun. Think of it as being kind to your body, not hating it.

I have two kinds of Merrell gloves and love them.

I second Bryan Kest. I also love the Namaste.tv yoga series. Short, 22 mins sequences, easy to fit into my day, great music and photography, and a quiet voice.

We have a ReboundAir. It is great fun to work out on. The DVDs that came with it are horrible though. It was an expensive purchase, but it strong enough to hold my husband's weight. It also folds into quarters.

I had some knee pain in the beginning too. I tried a joint supplement and it helped, but Chalene really means it when she says swivel on your toes. Do the modifiers for a while and that might help.

The reviews of the barbell itself are pretty poor. I wish you could buy the workout without the barbell.
-
The OP actually has a valid question. There is an association between knee injuries and the menstrual cycle due to a decrease in motor control.

On my period, yes. On a migraine, no. On Flood day I have considered Depends because of the potential for mess.

Completed week two of the Ultimate schedule. So much fun!

Ice, Advil and stretching.

I try to breathe in a pattern that switches which foot hits the ground on the exhale. So: In-in-in -- out-out. It works pretty well.

My brother can do 5k in 25 mins. I can do it in 32 mins. My husband is at about your time. Don't worry about how long other people take, race against yourself.

I am on Wellbutrin and Effexor and lost weight fairly normally.

You are adorable. Look at your smile, your eyes, your dimple! This girl isn't even your friend, let alone your girlfriend. We don't hurt our friends.
