The current board at Barcelona continues to destroy the teams image. It's really a shame that they keep getting caught up in these shady dealings. The current board should call for elections after the last president had to resign, hopefully Laporta and Cruyff come back to the camp nou.

Added you. I love my fitbit. Totally worth it. I got the one that goes in my pocket or on the hip so i dont have to wear a bracelet.

Liverpool or Man City, the match in two weeks will be huge. Looking forward to it. I'm a Barcelona fan with no team in the PL, but I like Arsenal, Liverpool and Man U. I hate Chelsea. I know you can't really like all those teams, but those are the teams I enjoy watching.

Focus on why you are doing this. You are doing this for you. Not to be the queen. In the end being the queen doesn't matter, but a healthier you does!

I love my fitbit one. It goes in my pocket and pushes me to make little adjustments to add steps to my normal routine. A great motivator. So far so good.

I have been using the Pure Protein shakes from Trader Joes as part of my breakfast, plus two light string cheeses from trader joes. 220 calories total, eat at 7am and I am good until 11-12 for lunch. The first couple of weeks were rough, but I think your body adjusts. I used to eat a lot, so my body was used to more food.…

I have used the jawbone up and currently use the fitbit one. I like the fitbit one because you don't have to wear a bracelet all day. It fits nice in the coin pocket of my jeans, and then I clip it to the pocket of my workout shorts. It tracks sleep too, it comes with a wristband to put it in for sleep, but I just put it…

Light string cheese from trader joes. Pure protein shake from trader joes. And some form of chicken.

Exactly, 1000 isn't right for everyone, and isn't sustainable long term. But, to get to a point where you can exercise more easily and then increase calories, it works for some people. Blanket statements of don't do this or don't do that doesn't help anyone. But, I would suggest keeping sugar to a minimum as much as you…
-
Do you have any basis for that other than what the app tells you? Have you seen a nutritionist/are you one?

I keep sugar and carbs to a very minimal level and have been dropping weight like crazy. There are some good books out there about sugar. These were good reads and helped me a lot. http://www.amazon.com/Why-We-Get-Fat-About/dp/0307474259 http://www.amazon.com/Good-Calories-Bad-Controversial-Science/dp/1400033462/ Of course…

net calories are the calories you take in after exercise. So if you eat 1500 calories and burn 300 during exercise, that is a net 1200 calories Eat 2000 calories, burn 1000 is a net of 1000 calories.

I drink tea at night. It gets better too, also make sure you are eating enough earlier to make the nights easier. I sometimes have a small snack if I'm feeling hungry to prevent myself from overeating later in compensation for being so hungry. After a couple weeks, your body gets used to lower intake. I have been eating…

Count me in, been back on the healthy living wagon for the last 6-8 weeks. Wouldn't mind a challenge.
-
I drink 100-160 oz's a day usually. I also work in an office, go to the bathroom about once every 45 min - 1hr. Fill my water bottle up on the way. I've always had a prettty high capacity bladder though.

I had mine removed in February of this year. Had it taken out on a Friday, was back to work on Monday. And back to normal about 1-2 weeks later. I have noticed zero side effects to having it gone. I have changed my lifestyle a lot and eating habbits since surgery. I am down about 70 pounds from my surgery weight, so I…

Don't rush the running. Just focus on walking for awhile. Drop some weight and the jogging will come much more easily. I started walking 3 miles, then 5 miles after a couple weeks. Now I do a combination of walking/joggin for 5 miles. I wouldnt rush the jogging, it was tough for me at first. Started at 388 in February, now…

Mine is from when i was 15, so it says something like 6'1" 250. I'm now 6'4" and 320. So hoping to just update the height at some point in the near future.

I've started to enjoy it too. I'd rather walk and carry my bag when golfing than take a golf cart. Don't mind parking 15 blocks away and walking. It's really awesome, definitely a positive lifestyle change.
-
Thats what I was thinking. Glad to see people have the same views. I am just going to keep going until I like where I am at, and not worry about the charts. First major goal is 250 or so, and then from there I will reevaluate my goals

I figure they can't help. I stopped drinking all sodas and sweetened drinks and have been shedding weight ever since. Granted, there has also been some major lifestyle/diet changes that went along with it. I only drink water during the week, and water and alcohol/beer on weekends.

sent you one

You can enter the data yourself and use that in your food log. Under " My foods" you can create a new food.

Thats not true at all. I've been eating under 1500 calories for more than 3 months, I have lost 65 pounds since February 2011.
-
I am 6'4" and currently right around 323, started at 388 in February. I've been sticking to calorie count around 1200-1400 for the last couple of months, and mixed in 3-4 days of 5 mile walks/runs. If you cut your calories, and count everything you take in. Just start moving some more and the pounds will start to drop real…

pizza for me. only eat it about once a month now

I started off walking 3 miles 3-4 days a week about two to three months ago. Now I'm up to 5 miles 3-4 times a week with a combination of walking/jogging. It's all about getting the time in and keeping the calories down. You can lose all the weight you need by walking and counting your calories. Just make sure to walk long…

Check out Nike Free's. I love them, the most comfortable running shoes ever. http://nikerunning.nike.com/nikeos/p/nikeplus/en_US/commerce/women?hf=10001^4294922505&t=Women%27s%20Barefoot%20Running%20Shoes#?p=PWP&ll=en_US&ct=US…

If you walked for 20 minutes at 5mph it would have been closer to 1.6 miles. So something is definitely off. 5 mph is a 12 minute mile. 6 mph is a 10 minute mile.
