Ok, so this random thought came to me this morning when I was going through my wallet, I looked at my license and saw that I am about 13lbs. heavier than what is says. I know I didn't lie but have actually gained the weight since then. I'm curious to know how many people fib about their weight on there and do men do it too? If you do stretch the truth a bit than by how many pounds?
Just thought it interesting

Well, I lied when I first had it issued three years ago. It was about 20 lbs lighter than I was at the time.

Now, however, I am almost 60 lbs lighter than the number on my DL. I guess it is time to go and have it replaced.

LOL, not really lying per se, but I'm wearing a wig in my photo so it looks nothing like me! I have an aversion to the government having any type of photo of me...

My drivers license doesn't include my height, thank god.

Mine was true. However I have had a baby since then. However, it is only 5 lbs off. Soon I will be bellow it.
  • I lied, a lot on my weight! Lol But good news is that I am now only 13 lbs from my lie! I should be there in no time(:

Mine is from when i was 15, so it says something like 6'1" 250. I'm now 6'4" and 320. So hoping to just update the height at some point in the near future.

I definitely lied!! The last time I got a license(2 years ago), I lied by about 30 pounds!! I told them I was 200 when I was actually 230. But I'm happy to announce that it's no longer a lie!! I'm 1 pound under it now!!
  • Oh I lie like no other. I've had the same weight on my driver's license since I was 16! According to my driver's license I weigh 145 lbs, but in all reality I weight 205! lol. I don't think they even really check that anymore since I any over weight person I know lies on their license. ONly skinny people put their actual weight, because they're proud of it, not embarrassed like the heavy people population!

So don't feel bad, 13lbs isn't even that big of a fib!

When I got my license renewed 2 years ago... I lied and put a number I hoped to get down to. I am now actually 30 pounds LESS than my license states! I guess it's a nice problem to have but the picture doesn't look much like me anymore... I was about 75 pounds heaver than I am now in the picture.

In Pa, we don't have our weight on our license. But, if we did, I'd probably take off 5-7 pounds...

Mine has been off by anywhere from 10-50+ lbs over the past 10ish years. I'm going to throw a party when my weight actually drops to (and then below) what it says on my license.

I am 20lbs below my latest drivers license weight. Feels awesome. And my face is so much thinner than that pic. I pull it out to remind me to stay strong!

My state doesn't require weight on the license..

It just has a number which must correlate to a weight range...?

A couple years ago, I renewed my Learner's almost 12 years after I had last had it (looooong boring story), and I literally burst out laughing when the woman asked, "still 54 kg (~120 lb), right?" I was 150 lb at the time and if she thought I could pass for 120, then she must see a LOT of lies during her day to day work.

Anyway, I'm under my DL weight now. Might update it when I'm done losing weight.

I had lied on mine for years, by up 50 lbs. Now I am actully less than what my license says! After I lose another 50 lbs and I will go get another one with a new picture and proper weight.

My state (TX) doesn't list weight either. Just height and eye color. But if it did list weight, I'd totally go with the lowest number that was actually believable. Men are terrible at guessing a woman's weight anyway.

why do you need your weight on your drivers license? :s

In the United States they force you to put your weight on your ID / Driver's License :frown:
I have purposely left it blank before and was told I had to fill out the whole application again...

My weight is from high school. It's way more than a few pounds off. When you renew they look right at you and ask if there are changes. If they are that dumb, I answer no. lol!

Wow that's a great loss! I think you owe it to yourself to get a new picture

Wow, I didn't know that TX did that... It seems smart because in four years people's weights in general go up and down a lot.

LoL, in my last photo I had to wear a hair piece too and I look different, or maybe just mysterious

Yeah, it's weird because some other state IDs in Texas do list weight, like concealed weapons permits. I don't know why the DLs don't.
