Good Grief.... I hope you are not taking the advice of every single poster here OP...IMO The best is to see a series of doctors (which it sounds like you are) to see if they can pinpoint what is wrong, what are the contributing factors, and how to reverse it. Good luck with this and I hope you start feeling better soon!

IMHO, losing fast does not equal keeping it off. Don't deprive yourself too much. If I restrict too much, and then cave for a small treat, I usually do not know how to stop - it can be quite confusing for my body and then I end up being sick afterward :S

Today is meatless Monday for me: 3 cups of baby arugula salad 1 tbsp of Zorba's Goat yogurt tzatziki and 1/2 fresh lemon juice 1 pkg of New Zealand Kiwi Mussels (steamed with 3/4c. water, dill and lemon juice) 1/4 pkg sunrise firm Tofu That with a partly skimmed mozarella string cheese and 2 plain rice cakes is heavenly!

Fish: Salmon Tilapia Snapper Prawns (Shrimp) Egg whites are my alltime fave because they are still low in Cals. Mix in Salsa, spinach and mushrooms - NUM!

I've cut milk out of my diet, except for the days I visit my mom, and she makes me a skim milk cappuccino.... Almond Milk, the unsweetened kind, has 40-45 cals per 1 cup. I agree with the poster above. Carbs in excess (or anything for that matter), will pack on the pounds. I am doing the same thing, staying quite low with carbs, and then slowly adding them back in for maintenance. Not only is it a mathematical equation for our bodies, but it is also a mind game for those who love carbs…
