During those 5 weeks you obviously built up some muscle. When you have more muscle you will burn more calories even at rest, than you did before. The weight loss will taper off and go away. If you go back to the gym you will see the long term effects and see the weight come off, stabilize, and stay off.

My favorite salad is the following: Kale Spinach Red Onion Sprouts Garlic Lemon juice Salt Pepper (Oil optional) You could make the salad a meal and add tofu or tuna.

I agree with rn_jackie. You need fiber in the morning. It keeps you full and it moves your bowels. If you are all about drinking your breakfast grab a 8oz glass of Metamucil with your carnation breakfast essentials.

8oz is a cup which is 1/2 a pound. The reason for the high calories is due to the fact they cook their food in animal fat, or lard. So it is going to be high in calories and saturated & trans fat. Hope that helps! :-)
