sometimes your body gets bored and go into starvation mood. To keep your body interest, lower sodium intake and increase protein intake. It takes a lot more energy for the body to convert protein than simple carbs.

i would also suggest start off slowly. You can try a really fast pace power walk, keep your walking pace up, more than 3.5mph. Count your hearrate, it should stay up 90%. When you feel like it, you can add in a little jog, don't over do it, otherwise you would hurt yourself again.

I eat fresh veggies (pre-cut the night before), such as peppers, carrots, etc Also eddame is good, high in protein. costco sales a large package, just microwave and good to go. Some would suggest fruits, but they are high in sugar. So i would suggest have one a day. Sometimes i eat special K ceral as snacks. (dry)
