I was doing really well with my calories yesterday. Until my boyfriend took me to the pub to cheer me up because work's been a bit rubbish lately. One vat of wine later.....

Ahhhh look at the photo of the little one! I'm UK based if you want to add me!

Basically, I went for a run, came back, had breakfast late, didn't really have lunch like I usually do, then was absolutely starving and it went a bit downhill from there. If I'm strict with myself from here on in (have already plotted dinner in) it's not too bad though. I never intended to be a slave to the process: I…

Already been for a run this morning so that even includes eating those calories back too! It'll be ok: I'm a lot more disciplined than I used to be so hopefully I can make it up tomorrow instead.

So pretty much just got up and did a half marathon this morning!?! Soooo brilliant!

If you're finding it difficult, why don't you get a 500ml bottle of Evian or something and promise that you'll drink it all by say, lunchtime. And then fill it up and do the same for before 4pm, and then again for the evening. If you break it down, you might find it a bit easier.

Love it EmsyLou!! Sadly, I've had an orange and a litre of water instead. Who says people watching their weight don't know how to have fun!?!

And me!! Although I work (which is what I should be doing now - sssshhhhhh!) in London.

I'm in! I'd like to lose about a stone. I'm 5 foot 3 and about 140. I've been this weight (give or take maybe three pounds either side?) for about 6 years now and it'd be quite nice to knock it down a bit really!

Just while we're on this, what stuff do you need to do it? I'm just about to order the DVD (Haha - the fella will be most cross he's about to miss half an hour of evening TV!) and I just wondered if I needed to get weights or anything else to go with? What do you reckon?

Brill - thanks for your replies ladies! I've only just signed myself up to this and I keep seeing all these abbreviations and different group names being bandied about and I hadn't got a clue what was going on!

I am a total newbie round here: could someone give me the heads up on this? I love a bit of exercise so am definitely up for giving it a go!
