I agree with you, i've tried adding them into my daily calories, but tend to go over then over eat. So I accept your challenge, well starting today anyway, since I just seen this, of no alcohol for January! :) I'm excited to see how it affects my weight loss!

Your calories will be lower because if you're early out you can only eat so many. MFP doesn't accommodate for that, the lowest they go is 1200. I'm 5 years out today, and I eat about 1200, I can definitely eat more depending on the food, but my goal is 1200.

I use a binder and just print them out. If I liked the recipe, I will add it to the binder, if I don't, I throw it out.

I logged what I planned on eating and then relogged on what I actually ate after. I didn't deprive myself by any means but didn't stuff myself either. I did go over daily goal but that was only one day, and I pretty much stay in target most of the time. So I didn't feel bad about it.

My breakfasts I like to keep lower than that, but I good snack is 10 cherry tomatoes and 1 babybel cheese and I think it comes to 90 calories. I eat it daily as a snack, you could add almonds to bulk up protein if you used higher calories on snack

I have a polar f4 and I like it for the most part. It is way more accurate than anything else i've encountered.
