The best advice i've received was, 1. Get good shoes, they will make a world of difference. 2. Watch evolution running and try some of their recomendations about running form. I pour a vinegrette dressing over tuna, and eat it out of the can. Low calorie, and only 2 Tbsp. It helps, and i think it tastes better than putting mustard on it.

I had cerial for breakfast, a sandwich for lunch, granola bar for snack, and some apples to snack on. I drank light beer like there's no tomorrow, but i went on a hike. After a week i still lost one pound. I guess the key is to not go too crazy, and if you fall off the wagon, then get up, and get back on.

Check out evolution running. There are videos you can watch on you tube for free. It shaved a minute off my run times.
