This is 29-30lb loss. I am a little more that 5 feet tall. 160 to start and 130 after 6 months.

I just did my first day of Ripped in 30 and I LOVED it! I did the 30DS recently and had great results. I can tell I will like this just as much. Feel free to add me!

I never realized how big I was. Now I look at pictures and see that my weight was more of an issue than I let myself believe. I guess that is a strange way of seeing that you had a problem. Now I do see myself as big because now that I realized the issue, I don't know if it will go away. Does that make sense? The brain…

I am 8lbs away from my goal for losing 30lbs. Fell free to add me as a friend.

I am between 5' and 5'1". I have found walking and Jillian Michaels DVD work very well. I also don't eat sugar or carbs that are not whole grains.

I would say you just pulled a muscle. I pulled my quad during level 1 and had to take a few rest days. RICE is a great thing to do and do some easy stretching. Feel better soon!

Thank you! I am doing Jillian's 6 week Six-pack now and I am finishing my first week of that. I plan on doing the 30DS again after that. I think it will become my standby workout for quite a long time because I loved it so much.

It won't effect your results as long as you are giving it all you got. After a while the pushups and jumping jacks become easier and you will see your body changing from the inside out. Just give it all you got!

I fit in my pants for almost 6 years ago and my back roles have finally disappeared!

I finished it at the beginning of this week but I could be support. I love the 30DS. Feel free to add me as a friend.

I love your story! I have lost some weight and have been holding off trying on new clothes because I am frugal with my money as well. I kind of want to go shopping now that I have read your story.

Thank you all! I didn't think I would get this large of a reaction but I am so glad I could inspire some of you to keep going or to start this program. I have to say you all made me tear up. I really never thought I could be an inspiration when it comes to weight loss. I am at a loss for words. Today I started the 6 week…

I have never been called someone's inspiration before. You all have made me tear up a bit. I used 5lb weights but when I was on vacation I didn't have my weights so I used heavy books! It looked funny but it got me the same results. It does get harder but I swear you can do it! I liked level 2 the most. The cardio was…

Thank you! I did 10 days of each level and, yes, it does get harder. On level 2 and 3 I took 5 second breaks many times until the last 2 days when I had built myself up enough to not stop at all. I promise you that you can do it. and you will feel amazing when you get done!

I did nothing different with my food. If anything I ate more. I eat my 1200 calories a day and I usually don't eat back my exercise calories. During my 2 week vacation to see family during the holidays, though, I ate back my calories every day and splurged once or twice. On those splurge days, though, I made sure to get my…

Guys can do it for sure. Jillian makes comments about being a woman and things like that but the exercises themselves are great for anyone. If you are interested I would say go for it!
-
LOL! I didn't notice that but now that I have I LOVE IT!

I am almost done with my 30 days and I have lost around 4lbs but many more inches. I don't have an exact amount yet but I think it is a great workout.

Hey there! I am in my 20's and currently at around 140. I am looking to get to 130 or 125. I know it is a little different than your goals but if you would like to add me as a friend, feel free.

I am on Day 9. I love feeling how much easier it is than the first day. I have lost around 3lbs and a few inches so far. Tomorrow I weigh in and take official measurements.

I know you said you don't do many carbs but I love soup for lunch. I go for a vegetarian, non-cream based soup. Progresso has a great Heart Healthy Southwest Black Bean Soup or a 99% Fat Free Lentil Soup. I have the whole can and some string cheese. It's a good warm meal and I feel full for a long time.

Welcome to MFP! Watching your calories and making sure you are eating at a deficit will work by itself but it will be slower. For exercise maybe try resistance bands. You can do that sitting in a chair and it can still give you a good workout.
