  • I've tried it and it helped put me back in touch with my bodies natural signals; mainly from how I was feeling from eating various foods, whether good or bad.
  • Soda. Cola. Anything with artificial sweetener or that claims to be diet. My mom developed dementia. She lived off diet soda in a can. Not only do studies show that the artificial sweeteners contribute to it, but also the aluminum from the can contributes to memory loss.
  • I ran the same rout today as yesterday, but Runtastic logged more calories and distance today. This is concerning. Does anyone else have any experience with this? I'm using the Runtastic Pro App.
  • Find a healthy alternative. I don't believe in complete denial, try Medjool dates when you crave chocolate.
  • P.S. I love chocolate. I've gradually moved from milk to dark. I used to always have it in the house. My one treat. Now I enjoy dates as my chocolate alternative. I find they satisfy me just as much and are also full of nutrients. Dried fruits or an apple with peanut butter rocks too.
  • The great thing about MFP is that you can manage what you eat based on your calories. If you have to have your fav chocolate bar, you can then adjust the remainder of your calories for the day/week to work around it. I think it's important to be easy on yourself.   • Sounds like you have the right idea. As long as you are getting proper nutrition and aren't putting your body in starvation mode.
