Problem areas are always the last to go. I've lost 40lbs so far and my stomach is still my biggest area, it is smaller but not how I want it. I saw the difference on my arms, thighs and face first.

Great shoulders!!! I'm envious!

I'm 5'4, 29 years old (mum of 2), current weight is 157lbs. I'm currently aiming for 145 and will reevaluate when I get there.

I don't think they are necessarily bad, but they are fairly empty calories. Saying that, I appreciate having them in the house when I fancy a snack but want something relatively guilt free.
-
Why not schedule in long walks or things like that on your rest days?
-
Noticing a difference takes awhile... I lost 20+ lbs before anyone noticed and 30+ lbs before it was obvious to all.
-
I have the same problem. My calves won't fit in boots and struggle in skinny jeans, even when the rest of me is fine. Soooo frustrating but I'm learning to accept it.
-
I'm in! I hate pushups but know they are good for me.
-
Thanks! I've lost another 15lbs since that profile picture. I'll post new ones soon.
-
Wow!
-
Oops! I only just realised that I got a spot and haven't been doing this. Will weigh later and check in.
-
Well done you! You're looking great :)
-
Interesting - people always ask me how much I've lost. It wasn't noticeable till I got to 20lbs or so.
-
Thanks! Well I'm glad I'm not the only one plagued to give some sort of secret formula! And to whomever mentioned that it can actually cause you to lose motivation- totally! I've been plateauing for a while because of this and have just kick started my loss again
-
Oh yes please! SW - 164.6 GW - 159 I want out of the 160s before the new year!!!
-
I've only lost 30lbs so far but my husband loves it. He gets frustrated sometimes with my calorie checking but sees that it works and appreciates the results ;)
-
So far I've lost 30lbs. This has been eating less and moving more. Eating about 1500 calories, cycling and doing Zumba. The next 20 are proving more difficult just because I have less time and less motivation... But maintaining doesn't seem to be a problem.
-
I went the other way at first but I originally ate mostly vegetables. Maybe rebalance what you're eating? Too much protein will bung you up I imagine?
-
I think your hubby did nothing wrong. I also think it is weird to get up and eat after being asleep but if you were that hungry, eat the food and forget about it. Life is too short. Food shouldn't weigh on your emotions. It's not good or bad, it is food.

I have. 30lbs so far. Zumba is not my only thing but it's the tie. I eat properly (most of the time), cycle and go to a Zumba class. I never got on with Zumba videos/on the wii. They don't compare to the workout you get in the class.

Omelette? Tuna salad (no mayo)?
-
The only way I've made time is by making exercise part of my transportation- I ride my bike to work sometimes, etc. also, it's part of my routine. Certain days it is in the diary and it's a non negotiable.

buy a skipping rope?
-
I'm 5'4 with 18-20lbs left to lose...I've been maintaining for awhile but need to get back into it! Add me if you want.
-
Fabulous! I feels so good when stuff like that happens!
-
Thanks! I'm definitely not done but it helps to see the results!
-
Well done!!! You both look amazing! I could not be as successful as I'm being with my husband's support.

It is in small case... I'll give it another go though! 2 stone is 28lbs.

I've followed the instructions and have no idea what I'm doing wrong. Will add them to my profile.
