  • Okay, Dr. Tom had a gluten summit and had many doctors and other health professionals videotaped and also could get a written report. Very interesting information for not just celiacs but also those with possible gluten sensitivities or wheat allergies and the multitude of symptoms and problems with gluten. I have now…
  • I was told by a doctor that Almond milk is better if you are worried about any of your cholesterol levels. I like them both. Cannot stand soy milk. Glad to have alternatives out there!
  • I too just found out a week ago I have a wheat and milk allergy through the skin prick test. My mom is also allergic to Wheat. She avoids all gluten from her diet because of her past issues with her colon and celiac arteries. etc. Not sure if related or not. We have both been tested for celiac disease and tested negative.…
  • Yep, had been off for a long time and it showed back up in calories and a higher LDL count. So.... back again!
  • I track mine with a Fitbit and yes, very helpful and it inputs the exercise even if I forget too!
  • Yes an average of 3-5 lbs. Oh well sounds like everyone has this issue.
  • My second car was a blue Nova (I think a 1975) Anyway, it was a stick shift and we had to put stuff on the pedals so I could reach them. Miss it too!
  • 1964 light blue Buick Skylark. My dad bought it for $40.00 and fixed it up for me. I believe it is still running today. I really had a lot of fun in and out of that car. Really wish I had it today so many memories.
  • FYI: The jar was of an energy drink. I looked it up and had some good reviews on a website that compares green drinks. LOL everybody!
  • Oh, now I am craving a Reuben! If you make your own, there is fresh sauerkraut at the supermarket-it is chilled and has less sodium!
  • I did not know that is why I crave Chocolate esp before and during TOM days.
  • It is actually called All Day Energy Greens. I am trying it. Still waiting to see if anyone else has tried it and gotten any results from it.
  • Makes me wish I had started that. I don't intend to go back so I can take some before and after though.
  • Thanks Heather62bro! I have always been told I have bigger legs/calves even when I weighed 103 lbs. I am small-boned as well and not a bodybuilder. Either way-I have learned to live and love them because they are what they are, part of my heritage, and yes looking better now that I have lost some weight and doing…
  • I went in November for my first time and I am not a gambler. First and foremost-you definitely need good shoes-lot of walking! Even if you are going for a seminar or work-hotels are huge with lots of shopping in each one so can walk literally blocks and still be in the same hotel. AND see any of the Circus Solei (spelling…
  • So, how did the date go? I personally liked the black and white skirt and add the pink as a splash of color.
  • Best Buy has them too. Their website syncs with MFP and I think that is pretty cool. Yes, do more stairs and more conscious to get up and move around more. NO one even notices you are wearing it-well husband does at night but otherwise... no.
  • Yeah, my calves are 14 inches, my ankles 9 and thighs 20. So, I have always thought I have big legs. So, MFP group, is that big?
  • Okay, so what is the average size of calves for someone that is 5 feet 1 and 1/2 inches. Yes, I am hanging onto the 1/2 inch as long as I can.
  • Yeah, it has a bunch of other stuff in it too. Curious if anyone else has really tried it. Don't believe reviews because they could be paid to do the reviews you know?
  • Never mind
  • Someone else took my reply-but it is true so worth repeating. You were beautiful before and are beautiful now!
  • Yep, didn't work for me either
  • Feel free to add me as well. I turned 47 in December and ever since I turned 40 the metabolism and energy went Kaput! Good luck and I noticed I didn't lose any weight when I quit logging in-being accountable for what goes in really matters-at least to me it does.
  • Welcome to MFP! Good luck
  • Absolutely! Are you walking at a brisk pace to get your cardio up? each step not only burns calories but tones and releases endorphins so you can Walk happy!

  • Ha, glad to see I'm not the only one that wants to be on here even though we don't live in WI at the moment. Originally from Valders and/or Newtonburg. Have lived in Manitowoc, Kewaunee, Schofield, Wausau and Madison.
  • That has to be hard to hear. My husband once held up belly during a very intimate moment. Yep, makes you realize first that was very unkind of him and two I needed to lose weight. Enjoy who you are today because you will never have this moment back!
  • Recycling should be made available for excess boobs (I could be on the receiving end) and excess fat (I could deposit mine).
