I took a gravity class at the gym today. It was 60 minutes from start to finish. It was where you lay on the board that slides and you use the arm pull things and use the footboard for leg reps...all I know is I have never worked my body so hard and I had sweat dripping off of me today when I was done. I do either honey nut cheerios and an apple, the nature valley granola bars, or my favorite is the Thomas English muffins with strawberry jelly...yum! Oh the multi-grain ones. Hmmmm or if I need something fast I do the EAS low carb shakes...but they are not very filling.

You are not alone. I think alot of us on here turn to food in times of need. Food is comforting. Just plain and simple. You have to let it not control you anymore. Get on here...alot. :mad: Ok, so yes I am sick but not in need of crap food. I did okay on calories today. Until this evening. Hubbs decided to bring me a large smoothie and cheese danish from my fav place....of course I ate them. There goes about 700 calories over...oh and no working out either! I guess tomorrow is a new day....

So I have been fighting being sick for over a week. I thought it was just a virus. Come to find out, after the Dr. wanted xrays I have beginnings of pneumonia. So I am now on a strong antibiotic and he said no gym for 2-3 days I need to just rest. So I will really need to watch my calories since I won't have those exercise…

Thanks ladies....yep feel all swollen and so tired. Not to mention I am still sick! I am going to Dr this morning...today is my day off the gym...so I am taking it easy. :0) Hopefully at the end of the week I will see a loss.

Well I went to the gym this morning. I did the elliptical first. 15 minutes...upped my intensity...burned 150 calories. Then to the elliptical...upped my resistance just a tad burned 100 in 15 minutes...oh and did an incline. I think slow and steady does it. Maybe I will look into some of the classes at the gym....Thanks…

I do really like the elliptical. Maybe I will do 30 min on the treadmill and 15 or so on the elliptical. Thanks! I do some weights but not alot. I just use the hand ones by myself at home...too shy to go over and use the big stuff at the gym....:blushing:
