take measurements! in the last two months ive been working out ALOT and watching what i eat, and ive only lost 5 pounds (on a good day) but ive lost 3 inches in my waist.

i count it if the rest of the day you have been out and about and moving around as well. if youve been pretty much sedentary i wouldnt count it.

make your own! i got a recipe from skinnytaste.com for AMAZING zucchini turkey burgers. now i add carrots, mushrooms and other veggies and put in less ground turkey. my husband who is all about red meat even gets excited about them.

first of all good job! its hard to change especially when those around you don't make it easy. i think side salads are just about the only healthy option most fast food places offer. you could always check out the nutrition facts to see if theres anything else. or try to convince your mom to eat at subway. still fast food…

its true i have a friend who will eat just a bag of chips all day and shes tiny but has lot of health problems. society puts too much emphasis on looks. its really good that you are working out and eating well. strength, endurance and getting proper nutrition is way more important than being a size 2
