Go you for sure! Skipping a night time snack is next to impossible for me as well. Good luck with the rest of your night! You can do it!

I shared mine recently, but the post is long gone and I've lost more weight and taken new (better) pics since then, so I'll post again
-
Couldn't agree more! Love it. Thanks for sharing
-
I sure am! When you put it like that, I'm technically like 14 again... Wow!

You look incredible girl! Such an amazing change! And I can totally relate: I still see 300 pounds when I look in the mirror. I keep thinking at any point my mentality will catch up with my body, but until it does, it's nice to be able to look through old photos and see the physical proof of my efforts.

I do it after my 3y/o is in bed. Exercise has become my "me" time.
-
Absolutely amazing! Congratulations!

*Sigh* I miss Georgia.

Nebraska panhandle... supposed to be 65 today but windy. Rest of the week looks crappy. I really really really hate where I live.
-
That's amazing! Congrats! I too have a goal to lose 100+ in one year. Hopefully I will share your success story come September!

I just read about this last night. I'm glad it's going to be available for free on her site first. I don't think this is something I would want to buy, but who knows? I originally thought the whole Twilight phenomenon was ridiculous, and now I've read through the series four times and wait just as anxiously as all the 14…

I have PCOS as well and though it is very easy for me to lose weight it is also very easy for me to gain insane amounts of weight very quickly. One of the big issues with weight gain and PCOS tends to be abdominal fat. Though I'm losing weight like crazy it's coming off my midsection much more slowly. It sucks and it's one…

Well, obviously each person is different, but I would give it at least a full week before getting too concerned. After that if there is no loss at all, you may need to re-evaluate your calorie and exercise goals. Good luck!
-
I never notice any difference at that time....

Welcome to MFP, Jessa! :flowerforyou:

Hi Bryan! Awesome loss so far! You're already well on your way to reaching your goals. You'll do amazing things if you just stay committed. Good luck
-
That is awesome!!! Congrats!

Tried it! No luck. I have severe PCOS and it throws my hormones way out of whack. I'm actually benefiting in more ways from the BC than just reducing my acne, it's just that the acne was the only thing bothering me enough to convince me to do something about it.
-
Well, the only reason I am even on birth control is to control acne. So far yasmin seems to be doing the trick. You should give your doc a call!
-
Eek! What pill are you on? I recently went back on birth control and was scared of this exact thing happening, so I talked to my doctor and let her know that I absolutely didn't want to be put on something that was going to cause weight gain or make it hard to lose weight. She put me on yasmin and I just started my second…

Calories are my real focus. As you get into it, it'll probably get easier for you to keep track in all the other areas, but since you're just starting out, don't overwhelm yourself. Focus on your calories, and as you adjust the kinds of foods you eat you'll start seeing what foods have more of the bad stuff and which keep…

I don't think any of us would ever make it very far in this journey if it weren't for the small victories. Congrats girl! That's awesome!!!!! :flowerforyou:

I've always noticed a decrease in weight loss whenever I'm going through sleepless periods.
-
Well, if you only weigh in once a week perhaps you had set yourself up for a drastic loss this week before the binge...? Maybe you really lost six pounds last week, only to gain two from the binge, and you just don't know because you didn't see it. It sounds unlikely, but hey- so does losing four pounds after binge eating!…

I'm right there with ya hun! Warmer weather's been flirting with our area for a couple of weeks now, and I find myself constantly thinking about backyard barbeques and grilling out at the lake. It's not even the food I'm jonesing for- just the fun and social aspects. But with "social" always comes tasty food. *sigh*
-
Yea... we're pretty awesome. Seriously, though, welcome aboard and BIG congrats on your loss so far! :drinker:

Congrats on your success so far! My goal is to lose 115 pounds (though "charts" tell me I should be trying to lose at least 140  ) and I've found it a much less daunting task to simply focus on ten or twenty pounds at a time. It definitely feels less overwhelming. After losing your first twenty, I'd say you're…
