I FEEL so much younger, too. That's the great thing. I was always so tired and run down all the time. It's amazing how good I feel these days.
-
Hahaha! Does it make me egotistical to say that's becoming one of my favorite things about myself?

Well... now that I've read this I miss burritos, too!

I don't think it was the food. Most people suggest eating before your workout. I don't know what your treadmill is like, but if it's one of the ones that takes your weight into consideration, you might check that. A smaller person will burn less calories when giving the same effort as a larger person, so if your weight was…

Absolutely not. He would have to earn it just the same.

I know. Those older pics are devestatingly embarrassing.

I don't usually respond to these posts because they're just cat fights in the making, but.... I agree with you and I've definitely felt the frustration and confusion you're expressing. I don't believe in eating your exercise calories. So shoot me. Whatever. I think people should just go based on what they're comfortable…

So true. Whether the rest of us are allergic or not, some people reallllly need to re-evaluate the amount they're wearing. I'm not allergic nor do I have asthma, but there have been several occasions I've walked into a store or even an area outside and just get suffocated. Come on people, if you smell that bad, take a…

OMG, you've got to be kidding me! I guess now that that one lawsuit has become so big everyone's gonna jump on the bandwagon. Kinda like how everyone started suing McDonald's for making them fat. Honestly, I think our society is taking this whole health-concious way of life to extremes.

:blushing: Thank you, everyone. I was awfully nervous posting these. Thanks for the encouragement!!! :flowerforyou:

I don't really cheat much anymore, and when I do I typically am pretty open about it with myself, but sometimes when I have a pre-planned cheat day I'll avoid weighing in for a few days. If I don't see the gain, the gain never happened. :smokin:

omg! too funny!

With me, my dietician put me on 1600 cals. I was keeping it between 1400 and 1600, which she wasn't really thrilled about, but accepted. Experimenting with MFP, it told me I should drop to 1200. I did this, lost weight for awhile, and then everything slowed down dramatically. I was getting really frustrated and tried…

Are you currently at 1300 then? What I do is add in extra veggies and such to get to that 1500 mark. Put tomatoes and lettuce on a sandwich and eat an extra veggie serving at dinner. If you typically have a snack mid-afternoon, add in an apple or banana. I've been on 1500 for awhile, but found I was satisfied at 1200 most…

My stepson was here yesterday and he weighs about what I've lost, and I found myself looking at him thinking "Oh my god, I've lost a whole ten year old boy!"
-
Sounds like you need to start rockin the twelves. :glasses: Way to go!
-
**Applause** Absolutely wonderful! Good job!!
-
13, 11... who cares? You're doing an amazing job either way!
-
Way to go!!! I know it takes a lot of control to make those healthier choices when you're eating out. For the first time ever I had a grilled chicken wrap and a parfait at McD's the other day, instead of a Happy Meal. Saved me about two hundred cals and was guilt-free!
-
Geez. You should come cook for me.
-
I usually do some "grilled" (on the griddle seeing as how it's winter) pork chops with mine.
-
Not lame at all! Now that I can see mine, I find it to be one of my most appealing features. It's a great accomplishment, and it's even greater to find new things to love about your body. Way to go!

Oooh, oooh, me too! I'm 26. Currently at 218 but started out at 290. Never NOT been in the 200s since as far back as I can remember, but I plan on getting there relatively soon, so I hope I don't get kicked out at that point.
-
Okay. Now you've twisted my arm. 815 cals is astounding! I'm buying it!
-
Welcome! I'm in much the same position- very lonely SAHM. We have a pretty supportive group of people here, though, and it definitely helps! Hope you enjoy and stick around
-
Oh man. You look eerily similar to this one guy I know..... Good job, Matt!!!! HUGE accomplishment! :drinker:
-
I know, me too! As soon as I posted my response I was thinking, "mmmm, bagels."
