I know you said no bars, but I get a cherry dilly bar... I think they're about 200 calories. I can't even believe I used to eat a large blizzard, sometimes in one sitting. Holy crap!! :)

I started January 1, and am down 7.5lbs. I have less to lose though. I know I am working my butt off, so even though the loss is slow, I feel awesome.

I am going to start taking them... can't hurt no matter what, right? :)

Philly, Honestly? For me it was tough. My baby was almost 2, and my hubby and I actually planned a 5 day vavaction away from him with the hopes that he would wean. It worked, but not long after, he was back up to 3-4 sessions a day. January (2011, he turned 3 in Sep. '11) was when we finally broke it. I just offered less,…

I will check out oxygen. Fitness was at the the top of my list, just wanted to make sure it wasn't so beauty oriented, etc... Thanks all!!

I have both, and enjoy them both. I use the elliptical when I feel like I need a break (though it's not truly a break ;). I use the treadmill for running so my burn is pretty much the same. If you have the space, And you don't think it will get unused, I say go for it.

Inspiring thread! I have sent some friend requests, as I need them :) I haven't really hit a plateau yet, but haven't lost in weeks. My question for all of you (my apologies if it has been answered, but I only have gotten through the first couple pages of responses so far), are we talking 1800+ net, or before excercise? I…

Just wanted to say- AWESOME loss since Mid January!!! Yes, get an HRM. I got the FT4, after reading, reading, and reading some more. I was not not ready to spend a ton of $$ until I knew it was something I would use. I will eventually upgrade, but for now, I LOVE my FT4 :)

Pretty much any cookie or brownie. Chocolate chip cookies and cookie dough brownies, specifically. Heck, Chocolate chip cookie dough is my ultimate weakness.

I have to agree with this. I was fitted at a local (about 45 miles away) runnng store. It was small, independantly owned, and I did not pay for the ananlysis. They didn't even ask if I planned on buying from them...but I did. And honestly, the prices were no different that what I found online for the specific shoe. I think…

I love my Brooks (Ravenna). More than any other shoe I've had :)

I have my treadmill and elliptical side by side upstairs. The treadmill was gard to get up there, but otherwise no issues. They are both loud directly below...especially the treadmill.

Bump for later :)

LOVE this spreadsheet. I FINALLY feel like I may start understanding this all :) 2 Questions (which I think have been answered, but just in case...): 1.) Which amount do I use? Mifflin St. Jeor, or the Katch-McArdle. The BMR or the Cut? (I do not know my body fat) 2.) Do I just no longer log my excercise (but still do it)?…

Bumping...I made this last night and it was wonderful. Even my hubby raved it over and over :)

Also,I will get them all to bed (8:30pm-ish) and do a half hour on the treadmill or elliptical. I feel so good for bed ;) Good luck. It is tough to figure the right routine, but well worth it!

I have an 11yo, 10yo, 5yo, and 3yo. I get up an hour before them and do a dvd. Then, I will either put them in the double jogger (the younger 2...while older ones are at school) and go walk/jog/run. I have a rain cover for rainy days. I also have been known to put in a movie for them (or put on their favorite show), and go…

I finished a few weeks ago, and saw some results, however, I eat low calories as well as add an hour of cardio (running/elliptical). So, the results are not only 30DS results. I do love it, but was glad t be done and move on to another JM video.

I started again last week, but have been a little sporadic. I really enjoy it, and plan on doing the full 30 days. Love Gillian worlouts! Just finished 30DS, and will go on to BFBM(?) next. planning on ordering Shed and Shred next :)

This is all really great info! What about manually taking your pulse during/after a workout, then using a site that calculates calories burned? I started doing that after reading how inaccurate both the machines and mfp are at calories burned estimation, and found the actual number from manually checking to be quite close…
