  • I'm looking for the same thing. I love MFP but I'm looking at the glycemic diet plans also. If there isn't a comparable app, how about some advise on incorporating a GI plan into MFP? Could it be as simple as keeping a GI chart of foods and use MFP for logging puroses only?

  • Hi and Welcome! I'm a rookie at this, but I go to the gym Mon-Fri and try to put in 30-40 minutes of cardio (at 60%-70% of my max heart rate) alternating between the elliptical and Arc trainer. Plus alternate MWF lower body strength and TH upper body strength. I've also cut out all soft drinks and replaced them with water…
  • I wear a HRM when I'm on the elliptical and log that as cardio. But when I'm using the machines for strength, I created my own exercise in MFP called PF Strength. I don't count strength into my calories burned. I don't know if that's right or not; I'd love to hear from someone who knows the answer.
