Leslie Sansone, definately! She has so many walking DVD's that include strength training using the band and weights. I have 4 of her DVD's and alternate that with walking on my treadmill and walking outside. I also have Wii Fit that is alot of fun. We all need variety or it'll get boring.

I agree with hannydee. When I was on the losing end I would get really excited about my upcoming weigh-in once a week. This really kept me motivated. I looked so forward to my weigh days that I'd work all the harder throughout the week.

I drink alot of Crystal Light. I enter it into my menu to show the calories, but also include this in my fluids for the day. I count any teas and diet sodas in my fluids, too.

Sometimes our bodies get so used to the same things that we need to fool it once in awhile. I have a splurge day every week. I eat whatever I want (usually pizza and garlic bread) and then the next day I am back to my normal eating. I think the zig zagging is ok, but like all things..in moderation.

I eat some back, but not all. I can't eat that much! I stick between 1300-1600 with exercise. I know I should eat more, but I workout in the evenings, most of the time, and cannot get much more in. I'd say sedentary (at work). Being active means, to me, getting your heart rate up. I have a desk job, too, but am up and down all day. My body is used to this activity, so it's not a challenge at all. Figure in your gym time where the real workout is happening.

I agree, you can make it pretty healthy at home, as you have control over all the ingredients. I think you have a very good idea! It's expensive to lose weight when we have to find something to fit after losing each size. I bought a lot of clothes at rummage sales and Goodwill when I was losing. I did splurge every now and then and hit Kohl's. Wish I had something to send you. What size are you in?
