I'd burn the 3000 calories and eat the 2500. Regardless its a 500 calorie deficit, but burning 3000 calories is hard as hell. I did P90X and I thought that program sucked imo. I did it for more then 90 days actually and the weight wasn't coming off and I wasn't getting as fit as I wanted to. The bull if your working out pretty intensely I recommend 60% Carbs 30% protein and 20% fats. And fiber is always great and filling I try to get close to 40 or more grams daily.

Raingurl your taking in way too much protein. I'll bet you'll lose more fat if you cut the protein imo. One pound of muscle "contains" 100 grams of protein and your body can only make 1 pound of muscle a week max. (working out intensely) So in truth if your active you only need a little more then usual and not that much.
