  • Why did it change f.a.g to kitten lol?
  • What a lovely post. It really resonates with me. I'd like to add also, that it's the realisation that just because you've always been a certain way or done certain things you CAN change the actual person that you are and thus things that used to fill you with dread (not being able to have a *kitten*, or going for a 5 mile…
  • I second that you DO have time for exercise lol. It gets my goat when people say they dont when they actually mean they choose not to exercise (which is fine, but don't say you don't have Time!).
  • Don't eat breakfast until lunchtime. Have seconds if you want them, just make yourself wait 5 minutes to double check. Use a few extra calories to make healthy low cal stuff a yummier treat.. ie massive plate of mixed veg but roasted in olive oil and topped with a sprinkling of cheese Exercise in the morning, it puts me in…
  • Starve yourself for a month then. Guaranteed weigtloss and feeling terrible. No monitoring required.
  • I guess I do it accidentally. I've never called it IF. But 9 days out of 10 I only eat between 12 and 7. Works for me. I wouldn't not eat outside of those times if I felt hungry tho.
  • Jeez don't say that... there's some easily led, desperate types on here...

  • Naked after my first pee of the day. For an extra feel good boost cut toe nails, clean out ears, blow nose and if necessary, shave head.
  • I have a relatively small appetite for food so find it easy to fit in a glass or more regularly. I do drink extra gazoodles of water if I know I'm going to have a drink. Like the thought that I'm flushing it through and diluting it!
  • Why do you need to? Just because it's the slimming world way won't stop you gaining if it takes you over your calorie limits, so ultimately you'll be doing mfp anyway. Certainly, pinch some SW recipes if they appeal but the logging will be MFP styleeeee regardless!
  • ^^ This. It's her fault so make her sort it!

  • I log the total amount put in regardless of how much may be left in the pan. So if I cooked a meal for 2 in 15g of oil I'd log 7.5g. It's close enough for me.

  • I'm not hungry in the morning but I am in the evening so I don't eat breakfast and have a bowl of branflakes before bed.
  • Hard floors tend to read lighter with mine than on carpet. But i make sure i do it in the same place for consistency, I don't care what my real actual scientific weight is.
  • I got sucked into Joe wicks Bodycoach a couple of years ago and now feel massively strongly against any kind of 'pay for weight loss or cleansing scheme. Your cleansing scheme is built in, it's called your digestive system.
  • Forget the diet! Eat whatever you fancy that makes you feel better. I had a bout of food poisoning overnight last night and today I've been rough as and eaten peanut butter on toast and chip shop chips! Who cares, I certainly won't check my macros tho!!!
  • I always do active rest, a very slow light jog on the spot or some static squats. Sometimes when I'm really dying the active rest is me collapsed on the floor writhing in pain.
  • Ha ha this takes me back to my treadmill days. I used to watch poker tournaments or real life crime documentaries on you tube. Random! These days I run outside but I still need a distraction so tend to play alphabet games in my head (pick a category like 'things you'd eat at a picnic, the work from a to z!)
  • I don't eat breakfast as I'm starving all day if I do and I just don't feel hungry until lunchtime. I then have a low calorie lunch, around 300 calories and am left with tons of calories for the evening. I tend to have about 300 left after dinner so I always have a bowl of cereal for supper.
  • Congrats! Such a difference!
  • I don't eat them daily, generally, but I am able to justify to myself going over my calories at the weekend as I know these exercise calories will mean I'm still easily in my deficit.
  • If say that whilst you are undoubtedly slim you don't have the athletic body of someone who works out effectively. I think also that it's odd you've chosen to do that twisted torso pose whoch makes anyone look skinny. I'd def lay off the cookies as they'll catch up.with you fairly rapidly.
  • I eat rice cakes with 15g of light cream cheese and occasionally a couple sliced of beetroot on top. I find this really filling for low calories. Or a whole mound of thinly sliced courgettes fried in 10 squirts of 1 cal butter flavoured spray, fried until they're nearly burnt.. A bit like healthy crisps! Or make a packet…
  • how are you measuring what you are logging?
  • As a beginner your mindset really has to be 100% on your food intake. It's easy to feel nervous of having to eat less or scared of feeling hungry. Your willpower (along with accurate logging) will be what makes you succeed. Forget the exercise altogether until you have got your head and actions in the right place regarding…
  • No. It seems a bit too obsessive and I'm pretty obsessive when it comes to weighing lpl. Besides I weigh naked for maximum accuracy so couldn't really be assed!
  • I'm intrigued what it is you call hiit tbh... I do it for about 20 minutes and nearly die and I'm pretty fit Lol!

  • I had a Chinese last night after 7 weeks of never going over my calories and never eating more than half my exercise calories back. I hate the term cheat meal, it wasn't cheating, it was a concious decision to eat more calories in a meal than I normally do. It's simple maths and for me, the MFP approach is much more…
  • I normally eat approx 250 for breakfast, 350 lunch and 500 dinner. Absolute approx, no real plan just what tends to happen the rest of my calories come from snacks/milk in a couole coffees. Today, randomly, I skipped breakfast altogether but ate 200-300 snacks/meals every couple of hours from 1100 onwards and feel like…
  • I'm now 26 weeks past an emergency c section. I breastfed until 15 weeks so didn't focus too much on my diet until then. I started jogging at 8 weeks and played a bit of netball but not full matches from 12 weeks. I gave up breastfeeding at 15 weeks and started mfp soon after. From then on in I was able to exercise more…
