emdeesea, Pretty much what I was thinking - I didn't lose my memory, I just lost weight. kgeyser, that's pretty much what was going through my mind, I just didn't know if it was me just being a brat (in lame terms), or if I was completely justified. I know I was now that that seems to be the general response.

kgeyser I can see where you're getting at with playing into the whole game if it continued to happen repeatedly after I had told him what I did. And in a way I guess that's why I didn't say anything right away until the second comment was made (before I said anything to him about it)...

Unfortunately that's out of my usual personality trait of avoiding confrontation, but if I approached it like that, directly and quickly it would make things a lot less weird, quickly. Bought a pair pf athletic pants that were a Medium (8-10 pant size) a month ago that JUSTFIT. Haven't worn them since it's been warm. I just put them on and I'm down 10 lbs from when I bought them and they look GREAT - besides being about 3 inches too long even in the petite length (I'm just 5ft).

Congrats! I had a smaller milestone Friday when I did a mile nonstop for the first time - EVER. Never in high school when they made you run it was I able to do it.. I would sprint walk, sprint to make up for lost time, walk and catch my breath. I plan on getting my way to a 5k for next year!

I just looked up what they would classify me at my goal weight with my height.. I'd still be overweight. While I wasn't using BMI as an indication of what my goal should be, what do others use as a general guideline?

Yeah the more I think about it the more I sound like that. I just want her to achieve this when she's going through a rough time as it is right now. It's not fun when you have to take a step back and move in with your 27 year old daughter.
