I have arthritis though it is osteo not rheumatoid,had 2 partial knee replacements 2 years ago,this site has been a miracle for me and I am feeling so much better since I have lost some of the weight I am looking forward to a much better healthier life.Good luck to you both I am sure you can do it this site is amazing.

for sure it is your choices,this means that although you are within the calories set you are not eating enough to burn.You need to eat more natural whoulesome foods,especially fruit and vegetables which are low in calories but bulks you out and helps you burn more.Choices are important,best of luck

Mine is my body feels better and my aches and pains from my arthritis are not so hard to bear,but the funniest is my pants wont stay up when I try to excercise at home Ive had to tie them up so they dont fall round my ankles not a pretty site at my age:laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

If this is a lifestyle change for you then do what I did on my 2 week vacation and continue to log and try to make wise choices.I lost 2 pounds when I did that and I am so glad I did what I did.

This is so wrong if you lose muscle that s not the right way to lose weight and if you keep your calorie intake above the lowest recommendation you will and should only lose fat.Thats the only healthy way to do it.

Unfortunately we are all born with a basic shape, thats genetics for you.When you lose weight your problem will not change ,you will be a lower size but shape will stay the same,but personally I think its much better to carry muscle instead of fat for all the obvious reasons.
