well thats a no brainer...my point is WITH exercise you can eat more cals...because the exercise burns cals....ALSO with the exercise my HDL went from 55 to 122....LDL went from 133 to 79.....and I did NOTHING else except exercised.....and increased my cals to cover the exercise

so you guys are saying IF I burn 700 cals running and that puts my eating at a deficit I wont loose weight ?...All I can tell you is I dropped over 50 pounds eating what I was eating before but started biking and running an hour a day every day of the week ! FAce it exercise burns cals

yea I figured that ...1/4 of what im already eating which is under what this site recommends already ? so if the site wants me eating 2k a day then you say eat 1500 to reduce by 1/4 ????....im still under that many days <<<<and over some...doesnt work...for me anyway

My lean muscle seems good...my arms and legs are solid and toned...I have a big rib cage ( chest) but my ribs are visable...its the paunch on my gut that doesn't go away...

I don't log everyday because in a normal week I eat the same exact thing and my 7 day workouts are also the same....i run 5 miles everyother day and bike the off days and do weights every other day....

Also IF I was too big a deficit I SHOULD be loosing the flab....too big a deficit means greater weight loss....

In deficit over 2 yrs almost everyday. Lifting and resistance a few months 3 days a week after cardio

humm well muscle is NOT heavier than fat...a pound of muscle weighs the same as a pound of fat...BUT,,,muscle is more dense and takes up less space than fat so if you turn fat into muscle you will be thinner....

i run an 8 minute mile...I run a little over miles every other day...on the off days I bike at a 19mph pace for 20-25 miles....so I do these 7 days a week....not sure if im fit but im 55 yr s old and 5'8" tall and weigh 139...Ihave some flab on my gut but face,legs etc are thin and solid

when we go on Maine vaca's I eat ice cream EVERYDAY,,,,big ones too,,,I come home weighing less...go figure
