Hiya, I know how you're feeling, found out gained 12lb in the first 12 weeks when I went for my first scan! I've since evened out a bit and at my 16 week appointment was 3lb lighter than at 12 weeks, a lot will be due to water weight if you listen to my midwife... I'm also not weighing outside appointments as I don't think…

Hiya, I'm 18 weeks with my first and have decided to track calories as there is far too much temptation (helped by work colleagues "looking after" me!) to eat for 2, or 3 or 4 the amount of food people keep trying to give me! I was overweight anyway with a bmi of 28, gained 9lb so far and don't want to gain more than…

Bumping for later, thanks very much!!

What I've found in past (failed) attempts at weightloss is that if I switch to lower calorie versions of things that aren't necessarily great for you anyway (like soda pop) I just saw a "light version" as an excuse to have more of it because it came in under my calories. I'm not saying don't do it, just be careful! I have…

Thanks so much for posting, it's nice to know that when you get there it gets if not easier then more routine. Now I just need to get my *kitten* in gear for the during bit!

Awesome, thank you so much for posting this, just what I needed to see at my restart. You are amazing! And thanks for the Zumba progress pics, I'm planning on Zumba as a big part of my fitness plan :-D xx

That is awesome progress - I am going to do my before pics today as I'm restarting now, thanks so much for the inspiration! Best of wishes to you, keep it up :-)

Thanks very much for this, I've always had problems with waist gaps, but didn't know how to do a dart!
-

Thanks again to everyone for the support and friend requests, unfortunately for some reason the friend request page is 'down for maintenance' so I may be a while in responding. The advice people are putting up is really good, particularly on trying to turn to food not exercise, hope it can help others that may be going…

Just had to say, I've not yet read the story, but the name made me laugh water out of my nose, so thank you!

Wow, you have every right to share that, I'll go take a look, I think it'll help, another sense of perspective. Also the HALT method might be something basic I can use from now, I do tend to just eat without thinking... Thank you all for your responses, I really appreciate it, and again sorry for whining, I just needed it…

You look fantastic! Well done on such a great loss  I've started a bit lower, around the same as your ticker and am aiming between 9 1/2 and 10 stone, not sure yet, I'll see how I feel when I get there.... But can I ask how tall you are for a bit of perspective? Ps: you don't look like you have no boobs, if anything…

Great work! You look like you lost more, you've really toned up, absolutely gorgeous  Well done and keep lifting!!

I'd just like to say thank you for posting and thanks for the lovely helpful responses. I too struggle with the negative overeating cycle, if I start a day badly then I tend to beat myself up over it and then think "well there's no point" and eat crap the rest if the day, then wake up the next day thinking I may as well…
