Weighing in today at 202.4 lbs!!! That's 2.4 loss this past week. I am stoked! I keep changing things up and have managed to have two months of consecutive weekly losses. My personal immediate goal is Onderland for Christmas! For the first time, I feel like I know I can do it! Can't believe there are only 11 weeks until…

I take a multi vitamin with iron that is high in D and Bs. I also take a potassium supplement. These changed my life. I got my energy back. I was iron defficient. I felt better the very next day after taking my first multi vitamin. My energy was completely restored after three months. (But I was at the bottom of the…

You can do it. Just keep doing it and start out easy. This requires a lifestyle change, not a fad diet. I spent 3 months just logging what I ate. The next three months, I spent walking around our block, 3x per week. Now, I'm nuts! I try to do it all = log, count calories, eat fruits and veggies, keep protein high, keep…

Checking in at 204.8, down .8 from last week. Averaging 1.4 lbs weekly. Wish I could eek out a tad more. I've been killing it!

Wow craft, great loss! Checking in at 204.8 lbs!!! That's down 0.8 from last week. Really really wanting to be under 200 for Christmas. Keeping fingers and toes crossed. That was my original goal and it is still possible.

water aerobics, lap swimming, etc. the water provides resistance in a safe environment and will build up flexibility and muscles while you recover . . . and then you can do more thereafter

Congrats Craft!!! Great loss!!! Weighing in at 205.6 today = down 2 lbs from last week. Had an outstanding week exercise wise. I've been getting technical and it is working for me! By technical I mean weighing and measuring my food. Getting my water in. And I bought a HRM and have learned that I'm not burning anywhere near…

I totally get where you are coming from. Regardless of the math, I feel the same way = I don't want to spend a week or more working off one meal. That is what happens to me, for whatever reason (glad everyone doesn't have that trouble). And further, it is not easy for me to go off one day or one meal and then get back on…

Definately, Ripped in 30!

I know what it takes to lose 30 lbs. GOOD JOB!

I'm addicted to banana and peanut butter (or better yet Trader Joe's Better Than Peanut Butter), not terribly low cal though. I also love grapes and yogurt!!!

You are such an inspiration to me!!! I am 5'2" also and my goal is 108 lbs. I started at 258 and am now 208. I have photos of my self at 108. It is the perfect weight for me. So so proud of you for doing this when you are young! You have the rest of your life to enjoy being healthy, fit, happy, and attractive. YOU ROCK!!!…

I'm in to leave at least 100 calories uneaten daily between now and Thanksgiving! Further, I'm going to exercise a ton before Thanksgiving dinner and try to stay within my calorie goal that day. Worst case, to stay within my maintenance calorie goal that day. We can do this!

Don't know why the initial picture isn't showing up anymore, sorry.

Thanks all! And I meant to say that I feel better than I look, lol. I feel great. I workout all the time and do lots of different things. I'm really surprised at my fitness level though I'm still so heavy.

Lack of appetite is a sign of a slowed metabolism. Are you still losing weight? Is that your goal? Try taking it up to 1,000 daily and see what happens.

Sometimes I am and sometimes I'm not. It really isn't fair to other people. For me, I don't want folks to notice when I'm making poor choices or when I gain. Then I don't want them to notice when I start dieting, but after a while, I want folks to notice. Anyway, I feel bad for you (and bad for others, as they probably…

I love the idea, but you know, we can't include anything else in our signature blocks now. Only our ticker. :(

My weight loss goals are: Under 200 by Christmas (or at least my New Years). I want to start 2012 in Onderland!!! My Valentines Day goal is 185 lbs. This is especially meaningful because I was 185 lbs before I become pregnant with my 2nd and 3rd children. Otherwise, I'm pretty good about staying under my calories and…

Hi, I found the new thread/group. Checking in at 207.6 lbs today (down 1.4 lbs since last week). There remains hope that I'll enter Onderland for Christmas and my 185 lbs Valentines Day goal, but it is a tight schedule at this point. I joined a rather serious (competitive group challenge) this month (MotivationMatters), so…

Checking in at 207.6 lbs today. There remains hope that I'll be sexy for Christmas, but it is a tight schedule at this point. I joined a rather serious (competitive group challenge) this month, so that is helping. As much as I hate it, drinking more water does seem to help with the loss as well as with staying within…

Nice helpful info!

I typically have a piece of fruit before bed. It's nice, like dessert, and refreshing, but light. Definately cut out the empty calories during the day (junk, etc.). Stick with fruit, veggies, protein, healthy fats. It makes a huge difference.

Couldn't agree more!

I know right, why spend calories on something you don't LOVE (especially if it isn't super healthy). Fyi, this is my holiday menu PLAN. I'm going to stay within my calories by exercising and enjoying modest amounts of THE THINGS I LOVE!!! Kudos to you!

Contratulations on all of your accomplishments!!! Thanks so much for sharing. Your family must be so proud. You are at the half way point in terms of weigh loss but way more than that in terms of the entire process. I agree with your philosophy, approach, and outlook. Thanks for including that. I get impatient and you…
