I used to do a DIY version of WW Points+ with MFP. After logging my food, I used an online calculator to determine points. You know that little "notes" box on your food diary page here? Great place to keep a running total of WW points remaining for the week. It just takes a few extra minutes a day to do the math, but if WW…

I like to slice them fairly then and sprinkle with a little sea salt and a lot of cumin, then bake in the oven. Or microwave like a quick baked potato and top with a little butter, cinnamon and crumbled bacon. A woman at the grocery store said she adds cubed sweet potatoes to her breakfast tacos -- I'll have to try that.

That stuff is yummy -- almost as good as Nutella. :) Buy a pack of wonton wrappers (refrigerator section of the store) and put a dollop of the chocolate cream cheese in the middle, then fold over to make a triangle (dip your finger in a little water to seal the edges) and bake. The wonton crisps up and you kind of end up…

Last night, I diced a Granny Smith apple, drizzled it with honey, then topped it with nonfat plain Greek yogurt and cinnamon. Yummy, and the large apple made four servings. My family loved it! (I used sugar free honey-style syrup for my diabetic mom -- Walmart carries it.)

Hee! I logged on to post my smoothie recipe -- I was gonna call it a PB Cup! When the liquid's gone, there's crunchy spoonable goodness left over in the bottom of the glass. Yum! 1 cup unsweetened almond milk 1/2 cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt (I use Chobani for the extra cultures and non-rBST treated milk) 1 tbsp PB2…

So you had homemade buttermilk?

I can't believe no one mentioned pi … oh, wait, pi r square, pizza are round. Nevermind. :flowerforyou:

Gonna make some low-sugar pumpkin cupcakes for my diabetic mom. Sugar free yellow cake mix, canned pumpkin, dash of pumpkin pie spice and a couple tsp ground flax seeds. Frost with fat-free cream cheese (softened) mixed with Splenda powdered sugar (or sf maple syrup), and top with slivered almonds.

My childhood "invention" was cocoa powder stirred into Cool Whip (please don't judge me!) -- I called it "chocolate mousse" and still make it occasionally, and I'm 47.

Pretty much any recipe can be changed -- where it says mayo or sour cream, sub the Greek yogurt. I like to start with the Knorr veggie soup/dip mix, and add frozen spinach and sliced water chestnuts. Diced red bell pepper would be nice, too, and maybe some black olives. Make sure to squeeze the water out of the spinach…

Three words: George Foreman Paninis.

First, a disclaimer for the "scary fake ingredients" folks: I personally try to avoid artificial sweeteners, but Mom's diabetic, so I try to make desserts she can have. Now, my recipes -- I put one packet of the Peaches and Creme in a Pillsbury Sugar Free Vanilla cake mix and another packet in a tub of Pillsbury Sugar Free…

I can't pick just one, so how 'bout categories? Best ever is my mom's homemade peach ice cream, made with Texas peaches from Limestone County. Mmm … My homemade buttermilk ice cream is good, too. Growing up, my favorite ice cream parlor flavors were Swensen's Swiss Orange Chip and Baskin Robbins' Daiquiri Ice. Favorite…

McD's s'mores pie is good, but nothing compared with the chocolate turnovers at Arby's. Just $1 -- the poor girl's pain au chocolat.

I love zucchini! My favorite way to fix it is to heat a grill skillet (the kind with the ridges) halfway between medium and hot, then spray with cooking spray. Pop in really thin slices of zucchini (and yellow crookneck squash, if available) and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cook until both sides have lovely dark brown…

"My bad." I understand what folks mean, but it irritates me. I always want to yell, "your bad what?"

A clerk at the running store told me to buy running shoes a whole size bigger than everyday shoes, to give plenty of room for the toesies. If they fit well everywhere else, your foot shouldn't slide forward. This is interesting, but don't read the DIY tips at the end if you're super squeamish. :frown:…

Thanks for the support, everyone! To answer the "why" question, I want to have more energy and not develop diabetes and high cholesterol (family history). Having my clothes look good on me (as opposed to being too snug) is a plus, but not the primary reason.

Mmm … bacon. I once had one of these, topped with bacon (to be honest, I had to split it with a friend): http://www.gourdoughs.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/Black-Out-sRGB1.jpg If chocolate's not your thing, well, then I'm not sure you can be my friend, but you can still have a bacon-topped donut:…

I wanted a Charger, but it was a bit too expensive for me at the time, so I opted for the "little brother" in the family and got an Avenger. Fun little ride, and even with a 4-cylinder, I have trouble staying under the speed limit on the highway. I can only imagine how many tickets I'd get if I could have afforded the…

I've had panic attacks off and on since I was 12 (I'm in my mid-40s). At one point, I was having them weekly and each episode lasted an hour and a half. I have low-dose Xanax, but have learned to deal with the symptoms and rarely need the pills. One thing that helps me is to move around, to work off the extra adrenaline…

I have to watch the Stanley Cup Playoffs!

Wait … honey bbq Cheetos? I never heard of such, so I Googled it, and found this: http://thecerealbaker.blogspot.com/2011/09/chocolate-covered-honey-bbq-cheese.html *heading off to the store*

Sic 'em, Bears! If you're not watching the Women's NCAA tournament, you really should tune in tomorrow night. The matchup between Tennessee and Baylor should be a good one. Can't wait to see if Brittney will dunk again!

Follow-up to my two-week-old experiment -- I've actually gained weight this week, a little more than a pound and a half. I have increased my exercise, but not as much I should. I know weight fluctuates constantly, so I'm not worried about this little "setback." I think I'll go back to the full 49 freebie points next week.

A can of cream of poblano soup, made with fat-free milk. Yes, the entire can. My lunch was 163 calories -- I'm saving room for a spicy chicken sandwich from Church's for dinner. With McDonald's french fries.

1. oatmeal -- Better Oats Peaches and Cream (instant) 2. toast -- sourdough toast with unsalted butter on one piece, apricot preserves on the other, and crispy bacon on the side 3. ice cream sundae -- with hot fudge (but no nuts) 4. frozen yogurt -- chocolate 5. popcorn (flavor) -- plain with bacon salt and black pepper 6.…

Believe it or not, I read that as "Petite Cheerios," and was going to ask where you find them. (I swear, I really did take my thyroid medicine this morning.)
