Men are recommend not to eat less than 1800 calories in a day. I wold bump up your calories to 2000 calories a day. An see how you feel, if everything from ur doctor is coming back in the clear. Otherwise seek another doctor, or nutritionist to help maybe pin point where you may be going off.

Take breaks - run some, power walk, slow walk. An be GLAD you finished. The time isn't important, but its a starting point for your future 10ks! People who does theses things, from my experience, don't care if you walk. What they care about is motivating you and seeing you finish!

Women can gain between 2-10 lbs during the last phase of their menstrual cycle. Some people recommend skipping the weight-in before your period if it fails within that 5 day period before your period. Not everyone has this gain, but hormones are evil, and cause increase water weight, breasts getting a little more dense for…

Toss out the nutritionist, get your calorie goal, eat that. Make healthier choices, but don't cut out the foods you like. Have them in moderation!

You could also be UNDER eating at 1,200 calories.... Toss this from a difference side here, but it can mess with your weight loss too. Are you re eating calories burned after working out? If so how much? keep in mind the estiamtes that MFP and other resources give, are often not correct, thrus they recommend eating 25-50%…

Your body is going to retain water while on your period. So it's pretty normal to see a weight gain. If your sickening to your diet, I would make weight-in plans, like every 2 weeks, or even every two months. Rather than weekly. An write down your other numbers (arms/thighs). They may be the change that keeps you motivated…

Hi! My real first time TRYING to get this weight off, I have around 60-70lbs to go, saying that makes me feel like its going to be impossible. But hopefully I can find the motivation to keep me going.. My names Jessica, I am a stay at home mom of two, my eldest Vanessa is 2 years old, and my youngest Willow is 4 months…

Unless you weight on them both at the EXACT same time that exact day its impossible to tell... They both could be accurate.

If ur just walking, wear whatever is comfortable for you.... If your planning on jogging, running, or even walking faster... than maybe a better shoe, but no need to spend $100+ on shoes.

I dry brush 2-3 times a week and moisturize every day before getting off my bed... Not sure if its helped but mine have faded and gotten a bit smaller. They don't bother me anymore. Hope you can find something that works.

Love my jawbone up24, syncs with my IPhone and works great. So far it seems accurate from what I've found. But I also use a HRM (Polar f4) when doing my cardio, walking, and stuff as this gives me a 'closer more realistic calorie range' than MFP.

Have you been checked over medically to make sure its not a thyroid issue? or something underlining.... Counting calories? May need to change to weighting your food if your not...
-
For myself, I use MFP goal... Than I search breastfeeding which gives me an additional 500 calories, never had a problem. That may or may not put you over 2000 calories depending on where your currently sitting, and your activity level. You can safetly lose weight, but if your baby is under 6 months, no more than 1lbs a…

without a food scale no one could tell you... 30g could be 1/2 of one brand and 1/3 cup for another brand...

The 'shelf' is from scar tissue, some women will get rid of it, others won't... They claim you can break up the issue by messaging the areas, however, I really have no idea how true this is. (This was also recommended to me when trying of a VBAC by the midwife....) I checked out the link posted and a lot of women in their…

No muscles are cut then they do a c-section......
-
Some women can make it go away with weight loss and working out (IF your working out though find out if you have a distatis(separated stomach muscles) or you may actually make it worse)... But also feeling the same, and thinking... I'll never wear a bikini with this "shelf"..... 2 csections later.

just started my first, its starts July 15 (Diet 10), need to get a mirror before than since I can never get on the scale when my hubby is home lol.

I as a woman... Actually really dislike hair on my man... Now having said that... nothing on earth will convince my husband to shave.... lol

Nope I don't, I still count my calories and try and stay within my goals. No point in setting my self up for failure once a month

I've always wanted to loose weight but never had the motivation till 2 years ago, why? because I know have a toddler and a 10 week old. I want to be around longer for my girls, I want them to grow up with a fit/in shape active family. I have a lot of health conditions in my family that are hereditary and can be worse with…

If your at a true stall in weight loss it can hurt to try cutting out or reducing the amount of sugar... Sometimes simple changes is enough to get the body back to moving... having said that so far I haven't cut it out, most of the sugar I consume comes from my soda addiction.

Keep in mind too being a women our water weight can really fluctuate through out the month because of our menstrual cycles too. So sometimes you may see a larger gain or a larger loss than expected.
-
I don't weight my food, I do follow the "sizes" that are listed so if its half a cup I use half a cup. I get it that it may or may not be the exact size. So far I've been losing slow but steady, i'm in no rush. Just like I don't freak out on yogurt, ice cream and other things like that when weighed. I don't lick my bowl…

Your welcome to add me as a friend, I am 10 weeks post partum on my second kid.
-
I lost 28lbs after my second and 18lbs with my first in 2 weeks. You lose a LOT in the first few weeks because of all the water your body retains, placenta, baby, and of course amniotic fluids, extra blood. SO I wouldn't' worry, just make sure if your breastfeeding a lot to give yourself extra calories (they say a full…

I am nursing a 10 week old again, ahhh! Anyways on topic, I stopped nursing my daughter at 14.5 months, and I actually loss about 10lbs afterwards without changing my diet or anything..
