  • For years I tried to "stay on track" on PMS days, and that inevitably resulted in way, way overeating when mood or cravings got me to a, "I don't care anymore! Screw 1200 calories! Screw losing weight!" place. Now I plan for extra calories those few rough days and since they are "allowed", I'm less likely to overeat. The…
  • I love your attitude and outlook. Maintenance is a beast for me, and I like your take on it. I might adopt it and see where it gets me. Thank you for sharing. :)
  • I believe you. When I ate <1100 calories per day I ballooned up. I wasn't eating junk food, we've always been healthy eaters, but I was not eating until early afternoon ("no time") and rarely hit 1000 calories a day. When I finally started forcing myself to eat 3-4 times a day, and bumped my calories up to no less than…
  • I've never been a pic progress taker, but this is a perfect example of why I've been converted! 5 pounds feels so piddly when you have a large goal in mind, but when you see physical proof that 5 pounds really makes a difference... yup. Awesome. Keep it up girl!
  • You look amazing! I like the change up in the before/after pics. I think I might take some of those for when progress seems slow. What a difference!
  • That's brilliant! Great job!
  • Way to beat adversity and kick butt! You're looking fab!
  • After a few failed attempts to "go black" and only lasting a few months at a time, I successfully set a goal and kept it last January! I didn't partake of a single coffee additive calorie in 2012, and coupled with other changes I lost 60ish pounds. If a life long sugar and cream addict can do it, so can you. Good luck girl!
  • You've done an amazing job! Congratulations!
  • I love the 17 Day Diet. For me it was very easy; it made me less hungry, I didn't crave junk, and it was easy to go into "auto pilot" mode. I lost about 60 pounds before I stopped doing it (which was a mistake). Though, to be fair, 6 months after stopping the diet I'd only put on about 11 pounds, and that was including…
  • You are beautiful in both before and after pictures, and your progress is amazing! Great work!
  • Oh boy do I understand this. I don't get a PMS sweet tooth, but a day or two before my period I have a hard time eating anything that isn't nailed down. I plan for it, and try to be more forgiving of myself when I inevitably eat more than I should. I keep healthy snacks (fruits and veggies) on hand, and eat often to keep…
