Feeling down while shopping? Try this. (PICS)

Tonight I was shopping and I was feeling gross in everything I tried on.

So I decided to do something to remind myself of how far I've come. I pulled an outfit in my current size (size 6 pants, size small shirt) and the same outfit in my old size (size 18 pants, size XL shirt).

    I'll have to try this sometime as I have gotten used to the "smaller, but not ideal" me and find myself feeling fat whenever I go clothes shopping. You look fantastic, thanks for the idea as well!

    Fun idea! I find I start to feel frumpy even looking at clothing catalogs. First, I know I need better catalogs. And then I think when I start to buy new warm weather clothes (which I WILL need), I need to get a slimmer friend to go be my eyes because I have a hard time getting my mental image of myself and how a particular piece of clothing will look on me to reset since I lost weight. Supposing that I lose another 15 or so pounds by the time I start shopping, I really will be at a loss as how to dress myself!

    Never thought of doing that - but what an inspired idea!! I normally just go back to my "fat suit" pair of jeans and t- shirt I kept ;-)
