Amazing story! I almost started crying reading, this story hits so close to home for me. I was in a miserable marriage with a lyer and emotional abuser that was never going anywhere in life. I decided to put myself first and left. Now two years later I've met the man of my dreams who has supported me like no one else ever…

I've found in my year of healthy living/losing weight, I have to have a meal a week where I eat something I normally wouldn't (sushi date night or a friend's birthday dinner.) Now that being said I don't treat it as a "cheat meal." I simply try to work out more to compensate a little and I always at least stay within…

I'm getting ready to do my 5th workout of level 1. I took a day off in the middle cause I was just too sore and know to let my muscles rest to avoid burnout. But already the results are amazing!!! I am combining the program with C25K (on week four) and I've already lost 2.5 pounds since I started!! (And i know that it…

I quite smoking in January 2013. i just decided I was tired of feeling like crap, smelling like it, and being out of breath all the time. I went cold turkey. The biggest thing for me was removing all temptation. My boyfriend and I quit together since niether on or the other couldn't do it. I removed myself from places that…

Love the idea of adding the red peppers! I love these wraps and will definitely add next time! Thanks!

I add about half a tablespoon of them into my smoothies! Great way to help fill you up and great source of Omega-3's and fiber.

Anyone have any tips for how to count calories for the 30DS? I've been putting in circuit training but I'm not sure that it's accurate!

http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/394991-eating-back-exercise-calories this helps explain it. it took a little while for it to click with me.

Well worth the 10 dollars I paid for it! I definitely have lost inches and about two pounds in my first week. A couple things though: 1. Don't do it every day. Muscles need time to rebuild, pushing yourself can just lead to injury. I alternated cardio days with 30 day shred days to make sure I didn't exhaust myself. 2.…

I tend to workout in the morning first thing so this isn't an issue for me. But maybe try eating more earlier in the day knowing how much you'll burn later? Or having a small snack after you eat, ie a hardboiled egg or protein shake. Good luck!

I've had similar issues. I started eating much healthier a couple weeks ago and even though I'm eating WAY more fiber and drinking WAY more water, i go half as much as normal. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one! It makes sense that my body is burning the fuel more efficiently and there is less waste.

I found this website. I haven't tried any of the exercises, but hope it helps! http://www.livestrong.com/article/426580-exercises-to-tighten-your-body-after-weight-loss/

The biggest thing I noticed was lots of processed foods. Eat more fresh foods - fruits and veggies. Also replace some of the white carbs with whole grains. Between the sugar you're eating and the white carbs your insulin is spiking which hinders weight gain.

There has been research published that people who drink diet soda have more fat around their stomach, which is dangerous. As far as calories go, there is no calories in diet soda. Other research says that eating fake sugar (ie aspartame) makes you crave more sugar meaning you'll eat more calories in the long run. Plus it's…

Exactly! I never understood that before either. It took a little while for it to click. It's kind of like you have three choices: 1. You set your goal weight loss, figure out how much of a deficit below the calories you normally burn in a day, and eat that many less. 2. You set you goal weight loss, figure deficit, burn…

I'm having the same problem! I never thought I'd see the day when I had to force myself to eat more!

It's nice to have the exercise to fall back on in case you can't stick to a strict 1200 calorie a day diet. For instance days with Garlic bread. Diet makes you look good with clothes on. Exercise makes you look good naked. In my experience, losing weight has to include both diet and exercise.

Started the shred a few days ago! I'm definitely feeling stronger, the soreness is starting to go away! I'm not following it too strictly as I am prone to exhausting myself and stopping it altogether. On my days off, I either run or walk. Good luck everyone! Proud of you all for sticking with it!

Definitely! I have to take B12 for a thyroid problem and know that it's a lot easier to lose weight when I'm taking the medicine consistently.
