I like to layer slices of zucchini with onion and tomatoes and a little bit of tomato sauce, then top with mozzarella and bake it until the veggies are soft and cheese is melted. Yummy!

sorry, I don't have any answers for you...I just want to save the thread as I have also been trying to decide between the many options

stewed rhubarb and strawberries: 16 cups of chopped rhubarb bring to a boil in 1 cup water. reduce heat to medium until rhubarb is softened and slightly mushy. Add 2.5 cups strawberries, 3.25 cups sugar, and 1 tsp cinnamon and simmer on low heat until very soft. Chill before serving. I love eating this all by itself but it…

not really a dessert, but rhubarb juice is pretty amazing! Cut up rhubarb into 1" pieces, cover with boiling water and let sit overnight. Strain out the juice and sweeten to taste with sugar and add a bit of lemon juice.

I tried on some clothes from the back of my closet that had slowly gotten pushed back there as I was gaining weight when they no longer fit and discovered that I now fit back into many of them :)

Thanks all. I know the key is moderation. I will just have to remind myself of that.... I know if I let myself go all out, I could eat double my daily calories in an hour at a buffet no problem! lol. I will go and enjoy myself but limit to one plate (and try not to heap that plate too high  )

it's really a "best guess" scenario. I try to find the closest thing to it in the database, and pick the one that has the highest calorie value because restaurant food tends to be calorie heavy.

I find it really helpful to pre-log my meals for the day so I have an idea of where my calorie count will be at the end of the day and I can exercise accordingly. I also find that planning ahead on what I will eat for the day holds me more accountable in regards to not snacking.

Awesome! Thanks for sharing, we hit those little "plateaus" now and again and this is very encouraging!

I think that's normal. When you look at yourself in the mirror everyday, you don't notice the gradual changes that are taking place. I lost about 15 lbs over a six week period and I couldn't tell except on the scale. But then colleagues and other people I don't see everyday started commenting on how much weight I had lost…

what do you mean by "safe"? If it makes you more comfortable to wear it, then I say by all means do so. Or maybe invest in a swim suit that offers a little more support in that area.

33yr old female 5'6" SW:187 CW:171 GW:130 I log daily; currently set at a 1600 calorie goal. I do workout DVDs, I am currently on level 2 of the 30 day shred and I plan on doing Ripped in 30 next. I also enjoy walking and cycling.
-
I log midnight to midnight as well. I work nights but I switch back to a daytime schedule on my days off so I find this works best for logging, otherwise it tends to get all messed up on switch days.
-
I would log it as hiking- uphill (to reflect the work put into trudging through the snow) carrying a load >10lbs (or greater depending on how much weigh you are carrying).
-
you are pretty young, and you're short...are you sure you aren't just having a growth spurt? Plus, really that's less than 2lbs, I wouldn't sweat it. Really. Relax.

I pre-log for the day and plan my meals to stay within my limits, and I also plan for my exercise and its been working well. Before I would find myself going over at the end of the day and not having time left to exercise and burn off the calories!
