The only changes I've made lately is changing things up to make sure I am getting all of my fiber and I've been trying to cut sugar. I think I am going to try the Abs diet just to give me a boost. I was just curious to hear what others experienced with this.

I eat 1200 to 1400 calories depending on if I exercise. I can't eat any less

I am very strict about all these things. I measure and count everything. I don't have any medical issues. This is why I am so frustrated

Well, I'm working out pretty hard (for me) and using the site to watch calories and such. I am very diligent about this. I have been dieting so long, it's kind of second nature to me. But I have actually gained quite a few pounds lately and was looking for something to stop this from happening. I know some of it is…

Thanks everyone! I'll keep you posted

Great information everyone. I finished week 1 and decided to do level one for another week, which I just started yesterday. I am noticing that I am doing better, but I am glad I decided to do level one for another week. I will see how I feel at the end of this week and decide if I'm ready for level two yet. I definitely…

I would try to get some good cardio in at least 3 to 4 times a week (running on the treadmill, eliptical, bike) and strength training 2 to 3 time a week. You can either use the machines (there are usually instructions on the machines explaining how to use them) or use free weights. Yo can Google strength training routines.…

I don't think 1200 is too low on days that you aren't exercising and if you have a sedentary job. On the days you exercise, you should eat your calories back. I have been dieting long enough so it's not too hard to stay in my goal range. I find cooking your meals is the key because you control exactly what goes in. The…

Thanks everybody! I think I am going to do at least another week at level 1. I feel like I want to be able to do the advanced version of each move before I move on. I am almost done with week one (two more workouts, I'm doing 6 days a week) and I am already feeling a difference, which really helps in keeping me motivated.…

I'm also really curious about this. I am having the same surgery. I will be extremely active up to the day of my surgery. I also watch my calories very closely using this site. I have been dieting for years, so it's pretty much second nature to me. Since hormones won't really be an issue, I don't see why weight gain would…

Yes, your stomach definitely does shrink. I started dieting and exercising about 3 years ago. I used to eat a huge amount of food. For example, I love Panda Express. I used to be able to eat a whole two entree plate and an order of pot stickers PLUS we would go to Cold Stone Creamery afterwards and I would eat a whole big…

I'm 31 5'7" 146lbs I eat between 1200 to 1400 (ish) depending on if I worked out that day or not. I try to work out for an hour five or six days a week. My goal is to get down to a size 6, maybe even a size 4, but I would be happy with 6. I really want to get toned up and improve my cardio ability. Obviously weight loss is…

Thanks! I've been doing some research and that seems to be the general consensus. I will start adding them in, regardless.

I stopped eating fast food unless it's a healthy option. Really I think, if you are dieting, it's all about watching calories. Of course, you also want to watch other things (carbs, fat, etc.), but it all comes down to burning more calories than you consume.
