Honestly, I haven't seen this diet yet. Looking at their website makes me a little leery considering they suggest you can lose 12 lbs of fat in 2 weeks, which is almost impossible because you would need to burn 42,000 calories over your TDEE to even come close to 12 lbs of some kind of lose. I suspect, it's a low carb/fairly low calorie diet that is similar to southbeach or atkins?

12lbs in 2 weeks, lol. They probably aren't telling you it's water weight from low carb more than likely. I hate diet fads... people need to learn what IIFYM is and how it works instead of succumbing to these ... scams.0

It was the first health/diet book I read when I decided to get in shape some 7ish year ago. It's heavy on plan and light on philosophy, so if it's methods don't match up with your preferences/tendencies, then you're kinda out of luck.
I was lucky... I was able to work within their recommendations and I had good results with it. Though, I've had equally if not better results with other approaches over the years, too. It's not a miracle plan by any means, but it does encourage a reasonably well balanced diet, which when done correctly, will end up being higher protein than many people eat on their own.
But you can eat all the power foods you want... if you aren't eating a calorie deficit, you won't lose weight.0 -
Also, if you want to tell us your goals, stats and current workout plan, we can help you get set up on a good plan to achieve the goals.0

Well, I'm working out pretty hard (for me) and using the site to watch calories and such. I am very diligent about this. I have been dieting so long, it's kind of second nature to me. But I have actually gained quite a few pounds lately and was looking for something to stop this from happening. I know some of it is probably muscle, but I still think the weight is a bit excessive. I thought I would do this temporarily just to give me a boost.0

I am very strict about all these things. I measure and count everything. I don't have any medical issues. This is why I am so frustrated0

You want to open your food diary? Also, what kind of workout routine do you follow? Also, is your goal to have abs? If so, what is your height and weight? And by saying you measure, that means you use a food scale or just measuring cups?

Are you equally strict about logging everything? Could there is a health/dietary issue at play?

The only changes I've made lately is changing things up to make sure I am getting all of my fiber and I've been trying to cut sugar. I think I am going to try the Abs diet just to give me a boost. I was just curious to hear what others experienced with this.0
