  • BS. You would do it in a moment. There is more to cheating than just physical attraction. Especially as you get older. You both get used to each other and the spontaniaty just disappears. You get fat and happy! And I am talking about both sides of this equation.
  • Very interesting!!!! I will give this a try over the next couple of weeks. I will drastically cut down on cardio and increase the strength training both in frequency and intensity. I have been doing about 90 minutes of intense cardio 4 times a week and light strength training twice a week.
  • There are a few pics I would love to be able to enlarge!!!!!
  • Sent you a friend request.
  • Maybe we go to the same gym. An older lady at the gym I "attend" will unplug two or three big floor fans and position them on all sides of her when she gets on any cardio equipment and then turns them on high. You might have one of them that you are using but it makes no difference to her. She will unplug it and move it to…

  • I have used Aleve (not sure of the spelling). Works pretty good. Watch out for any swelling in the joints. That could indicate an injury. Listen to your body! Don't overdo it. Your body will get your attention one way or another.
  • I "try" to do portion control with items that are hard to track calorie wise i.e. when eating out or eating something that has a lot of stuff in it like a caserole, soup etc.

  • I am a personal trainer (don't laugh- we all struggle). I would be glad to give you some advice on personal trainers. Think of them as a personal guide…

  • I am a 57 year old male who retired from corporate America early several years ago. I don't have any real hobbies. I have lost weight; gained weight; lost weight and now gained it back. I weigh 220 lbs and would love to get down to between 170 and 180 lbs. I have dedicated the year of 2012 to me-- I call it the year of…
  • It is a Polar FT7 with a chest strap.
  • I have a heart rate monitor that also gives my calorie burn plus average heart rate and max heart rate during a measured interval i.e. while performing an exercise. I calculate my max heart rate (one form is to subtract your age from 220). Then I try to begin my calorie burn tracking when I am at 60% of my max heart rate.…
  • I have several of them and they all work fine. It depends on what you want out of a HRM. If all you want is the HR then go for the entry level Polar with the chest strap. No bells and whistles on this model but it tells you want you want when you want it. Also no big investment in $$$. I also have an entry level Timex…
