I have a few..

-Booty-- my husband calls me that because he says I have a huge *kitten*.

-Mamas-- my mom calls me that and I don't know why.

-Gopher-- my sister call me that because when she would always tell me to "go for" something I would.

-Mari-- Short for my real name. Most of my friends call me that.

-Mija-- my dad used to call me that. =(

Do you have any nicknames??

Mari, with the accent on the last syllable (I'm French). That's the most common one, because it sounds vaguely similar to my actual first name. And A bunch of others that are not for public ears.

    Ha.

Wits -On MFP, it's the abbreviation of my last member name used. It's kind of stuck...people call me Wits now in real life.

Lovey-Most of my girl friends call me lovey...that's just how they roll. I call them "broad". It works.

Les - Because it's super hard to say my full name of...Leslie.

I was called Aquaman from 11 to 20, in two different schools, and the name invented independently both times. I have an unusual obsession with swimming and the sea and that was the result. My teachers usually called me Versey, rather than by my first name. A lot of my friends call me Mr. Versey, for some reason.

My parents named me C.W. , they liked initials. By 1st. grade the kids had shortened it to C.Dub, by third grade the C disappeared and everyone, including teachers and relatives called me "dub." That said, when I was 16 the group of young men I associated with wanted to spread fuel oil down main street and light it. I talked them out of it, hence they started calling me "sport." Even today, 50 years later if I happen to seen one of them, they refer to me as "sport." Most folks, however, simply refer to me as "Dub".
