If you lower your carbs then try to replace them with fats rather than protein or you will be very tired and lethargic. Preferably Fatty fish, oils (evoo, coconut, walnut etc), Nuts and seeds. Eggs.

If its practical just take some whey powder in a dry shaker then put water in and drink when required. Much cheaper and some great flavours out there.

Cottage Cheese works well also, but not as good as Quark.

Try this Protein packed Dessert its pretty good. 125g Quark 100g Low Fat Natural Yoghurt 50g Raspberries 1/2 Banana 1/2 Scoop of Vanilla or Banana Whey I sometimes have it with 1tbsp of Natural Peanut Butter instead of the Raspberries.
