I wanted to reply to this post, until I saw this! SO WELL SAID!!!

I'm saying that you can not burn fat if you have too high levels of insuline because insuline literally shuts down fat cells. Anyway, there are sooo many hormons and chemical reactions going on (and I am not an expert in this field), that it would be impossible to make too easy generalizations, I think. Say, you have eaten…

If you've eaten a lot of fibers, it could also be... gas.

I counted the minutes I walked and the minutes I ran and log them as "walking (moderate pace)" and "jogging (12 min/mile)".

Hi there! I'm starting level 3 tomorrow. Enjoy your shredding! It's very nice to see how you get better at the most difficult exercises day after day. I started level 2 following only the beginners' girl and ended it today following only the girl on the left. I would have never thought I could handle it. Do your…

MFP helps me in two ways. On the one hand, it makes me accountable for what I eat. On the other hand, the forum helps me to stay focused and motivated. Love it!

According to the cutthefatpodcast, the best type of exercise for FAT loss is interval training.

What's the point in not logging it?! You ate it, so it's not going to disappear just because it's not logged. So, log everything and stick to your plan. It's not the end of the world... nor of your weight loss journey!!! :flowerforyou: You did wrong, so what? From now on, you're back on track! Keep your food journal, make…

Everybody has a "region" of their body where they are more likely to store fat and you can't change it. You also cannot spot reduce. What you can do is getting more muscle in thore areas in order to look less flaccid. Those will be the last areas where you are going to lose fat. BUT: if you've already lost fat anywhere…

Of course, it does make a difference. Everything we eat will "send a message" to our body, that will react differently to the different substances. In a way, food is information for your brain. For instance, if you eat carbs, your pancreas will produce insuline in order to assimilate it. Insuline also helps fat storage, so…

I see a better me who is becoming more self-confident, being half way done with her weight loss journey! In a couple of monthes (I don't care how many) I'll be in maintainance. :) I see a changed body, a leaner body, that still needs some improvement, but that is on the way to getting there!

Absolutely FANTASTIC job! :drinker:

Thanks for sharing! I'll have a look, too! :noway:

I keep mine public, too. I always hope that it will make me more accountable.

Benvenuta Gaia! :flowerforyou: Have fun losing weight with MFP! What region do you come from?

I am doing the c25k, too. I am at week 8 and I'm loving it! I really helped me getting back in shape and gaining resistance again.

Woohoo, well done! Keep it going! :flowerforyou:

Good wine and chocolate! Mmmh...

I'm not a fan of fasting because I know I couldn't do it properly. Still, there has been some research done to how fasting should be done in order to lose weight healthly. I listened to a very interesting podcast to this regard last week: episode 14 of the cutthefatpodcast.

:drinker: WOW!!! Congratulation for this huge goal you reached! :flowerforyou:

Non-Scale Victory :ohwell:

For me, it's the constant discrepancy between wanting to lose weight now and as quick as possible and wanting to lose weight slowly and gradually, because I'm aware of the fact that radical changes are not likely to be enduring.

Thank you very much for your posts! You're a great support! I can't avoid feeling a bit guilty and that's one reason more to enjoy being back on track today. I hadn't breakfast this morning, because I had a stomachache :blushing: , but I'm going to eat normal for lunch and I'm looking forward to today's…

You look wonderful! Keep it up!

As many others, every morning after peeing and before eating/drinking. I log everything being aware of normal fluctuations (i.e. before my period).
