Thanks again everyone and sorry for the slow reply. I will concentrate on my clothes and meaurements for now. I think that weighing every week at the moment may not be ideal either, so I might drop this down. Thanks again

Sorry that was a typo, I meant so say I am feeling smaller/my clothes are feeling looser. Everyone always talks on here about the fact that women can't gain any decent amount of muscle whilst eating at a defecit though? Hence my confusion. I was shown my back/bicep workout first, and my upper back especially feels really…

Thanks everyone, my PT did take measurements before my first lifting session, and she is going to take them every 4-6 weeks, so I get them done again in 10 days. That will hopefully make me feel a bit better. I must say that I didn't consider gaining 0.4 kilo in a week that my numbers should hsave had me losing 0.5 kilo,…

I am a long way off skinny arms, but I have found that arm exercises have improved the look of my arms, sure I still have the bingo wing, but I also have a bicep and tricep, that gives the top of the arm the more shapely look that gives an impression of skinnier arms. You don't even need weights, do some tricep dips off a…

I go to Pump at the gym, irs the only weight training I do. I have got noticably more toned arms especially I think it would be expensive to do at home, I use a big range of different weights at the gym, and the step, mat etc. For me the results come from upping your weights often by sticking an extra kilo on each side…

Marathon runnrers are soft and flabby? What a silly post

I do think I know what the OP means. When I first started cardio and Body Pump for weight loss, I was quite big with chunky legs. I did walking and jogging a lot and my calves literally went rock solid. I thought I was stuck with them as it seemed like there was no fat on them, just pure muscle. I think they must have been…

I am 176lb, and trying to get down to about the same goal weight as the OP, I am only 5ft 2, but have a curvy figure, 34H chest etc. I currently have mine set to lightly active as I have to walk a lot, and losing 0.8 kilos a week. This gives me 1200 to net. However I eat back every single exercise calorie (except walking),…

This is ridiculous for me, at my biggest I was 38GG so I have a few of those, I then went to 36HH when I first lost a decent chunk of weight, at my smallest I was refitted into a 34G, so bought a few of those, and I'm now a 34H as I put on a stone after a recent bereavement. I expect once I real my goal weight to be a…

Anyone else?

I don't find it works for me, when I'm fully submerged it doesn't give me a heart rate.

I do take thyroxine, which I would take about an hour before the Tuesday class, and about 5 hours before the Friday class. Sleep shouldn't be it for me though, I tend to sleep pretty equally each night. It really is strange.

When I started doing C25K I was pretty big. I used to wear shorts over my gym leggings, the shorts alone would cause chafing, but the leggings alone made me feel too exposed. I used to wear my boyfriends hand me down t-shirts so I was well covered too. Being in Australia I was often hot, but made me feel a lot more…

Honestly I think if you rest enough and eat right and don't try to increase too dramatically then the world is your oyster. I read an article recently regarding how much cardio per day the Brownlee brothers do and its crazy. However mess up any of these things then I think you can have overtraining symptoms. There was…

You don't poo yourself if you stick to the fat recommendations. In fact you would have to go pretty far over to get some of the symptoms you were describing. I was prescribed them for a while, no issues, in my opinion it helped me lose weight because I wasn't tempted to reach for the takeaway menu etc as I knew that there…

I do see your point, but feel that it isn't that serious in my case. I just feel a bit tired. I have made sure that I don't do Pump or Grit on consecutive days, even heavy cardio like Body Attack has been well spaced. I have got really into Body Balance as I feel it gives me a good stretch, as well as being a point on the…

I am on 1200, which for me is to lose 1.5lb a week. I try to stick to it, but don't get upset if I go over. For me though I exercise every day, sometimes up to 800 cals (I wear a HRM) and I eat every single exercise calorie going, so I eat at least 1800 cals a day, often 2000. There is no way I would be willing to eat only…

Hello what is this please? I have never heard of it
-
I really enjoy bananas actually, so will try one before my workout tonight! Thanks
-
Thanks Danielle. I'll try to up the protein and see if that helps, yes I'm nearly there, only a few days to go so really don't want to have to quit
-
Hi Jasper I think if you are really keen on the exercising I’d scrap the fasting and just log your food and exercise maintain a deficit every day. I bought a Polar HRM to ensure that I was accurately logging my exercise. I think the fasting may make you struggle for energy for your exercise?

I tried on the panache too in a bra shop the other day, its lovely, but I couldn't do the hook things at the back by myself, you hook the shoulder straps together to give more support and I found them tricky!
-
There is absolutely no need to wear multiple sports bras. I was a 38GG and 36HH at different times and now a 34G. I wear shock absorbers. I'm able to run, do Body Attack everything with no pain or anything. My bust is very much held in place. Go for the highest level you can buy and you will be absolutely fine! Can highly…

I think that you need to find the level that is right for you. You would be better off netting 1800-2000 and losing steadily, than not being able to keep to the 1490, but experiment, play around and see what works well for you. In my opinion, there is a level that allows you to lose weight without being too hungry, and…

I am on 1300 a day, but I eat my exercise cals, therefore I usually get about 1700-1800. I will eat around Breakfast 200-300 Lunch 400-500 Dinner 700-900 Whatever is left for snacks. I eat light during the day, but workout in the evening just before my dinner, I like to know that I will eat a good dinner that makes me feel…

Can you eat a bit later? I eat dinner no earlier than 7, and often around 8, then I am full up til bed!

I had untreated hypo for years, I gained a lot of weight, almost 80lbs over the years. I would diet and exercise, and lose initially, then stall and would start to gain again. The only help for me was the levothyroxine, they started me off on 25mg and am now on 100mg. It took a few months to get that right though. I…

Sorry but I think that this is just bad habits! I'm not being nasty as I was 100% the same in uni. I would struggle to get up, miss classes, sleep through multiple alarms and then be not tired at bed time so would stay up til 2 etc like you. I too felt like I was tired all the time, even though had 12 hours sleep but I…

Well I am in UK sizes, and I would like to be a 10-12 which I think is 6-8 US. I started this at a UK 16-18 (US 12-14) and I was very overweight, my BMI was over 40 so that can't be good for you, plus I looked awful.
