  • I think you are amazing, I know we talked a lot last year and then I had a work and home shake up.. For me I gave in.. I remember how excited you were for the race in September and a weekend where you were frustrated... You have an inure strength I admire and truly believe you will get rid of excess fat around your stomach…
  • I love it plain, or as an evening snack : 1 part cottage cheese + 1 part yogurt + favorite fruit = Yummy
  • I knew you could, I knew you could ... That is so awesome and wow you look great and happy. You made it through the ups and downs and achieved your goal. I am so happy for you.
  • You have truly inspired me and so many other people... WOW!!
  • I just spoke to my doctor and my nutritionist today and both agree; Sugar is sugar.. but the refined sugar is the worst one and the nutritional benefits of the fruit out way anything else ... and I keep losing and I eat a fair amount of fruit
  • Hello meosha30 I also have lower back and since I have lost 15 lbs , I feel much better .. It is not a fast process, but even the little steps are worth it. You can do this and remember we all have our good and bad days, but it is a matter of being able to get support and you will here. Feel free to friend me :)
  • https://www.facebook.com/groups/162162033864639/ Great meal ideas
  • I too live on a budget, and so I buy fruit, 0% fat yogurt, oatmeal fresh veggies if affordable. Whole wheat is good and peanut butter, and I discovered that having small meals and a snack in between has kept me around the 1200 calorie mark. It will not be easy at first, but it gets much easier as time goes by.
  • I did the same and added them to my exercises , I added low impact, medium and high so I could use which ever one I did that day
  • Thank you, it just gave me the extra boost I needed on a hard day. Congratulations on the weight loss and the runs... I to wish to be pain free and this is my challenge. My hubby does not believe in sites like MFP, but I will remain on here and trusting my goals and needs.... I have read your post 3 times and now I am off…
  • Love Quesadillas  yum!! I have all but 2 ingredients
  • A massage :) Trail ride in the mountains
  • you are all very inspirational.. Today I had a yahoo moment when a co-worker asked if I lost weight. I do not have allot to say.. but thanks for being here.. sometimes just reading helps :)
  • Woohoo!! I could not agree more... and your success is proof of that. Way to go and love the rant :drinker: a toast to you (water)
  • That is so awesome, I knew you could do it :) ... But at the same time you have given me and so many others hope. We can do it.. it may be hard and a challenge, but the ending result is amazing. I agree with you about the legs, my horses have kept my legs white .. lol It is only fun to ride in shorts when you ride…
  • I read somewhere that 1st thing in the morning was the best time for a person to exercise, I'll be honest I am no expert.. lol My lifestyle has me dividing my exercises between lunch and evening .. I look forward to seeing what everyone thinks... Muscle weight more than fat ... my baby-steps and you all are an inspiration
  • I love mine with dried cranberries, put them in right at the start and they get tender and the flavor mixes through... Also try using fresh juice to change up the flavors

  • Hey All Well June was a slow start for me... I am reading and you all are amazing... I was a thin active person till I moved into office work and my July is starting off with a slow but sure footed start.. It is getting easier to do my 30 minutes. Now to stay on a healthy diet, and drink much more water... Ugh!!!
  • Now I am confused, my doctor says to stay at a 1200 calorie ... but I am following what I am reading here.. But wouldn't less carbs help as my exercise routine is not as high impact ?? I am doing my exercising at night and I find it hard to maintain what calories I am to eat... it is a lot
  • Thanks for posting these tips... I am a stress eater and have been trying to find ways to cut that back. I did start with celery sticks and grape tomatoes. But the best thing for me has been a banana :) Thanks all
  • I don''t as I do not like water and find it very hard to drink. So I cut up a lemon and froze the pieces and use a 24 oz water travel container. Each morning I use a fresh piece of lemon and it gives the water enough flavor to make it drinkable. But I have only reached my goal once
  • :flowerforyou: Thanks for the wonderful welcome and glad to have you as a friend (fried or not)
  • Hey all I am 59 going on 30, except my weight.. I have just started my weight loss plan after seeing some photo's .. Yikes!! The one item that is adding up the most is my tea, only because I need sugar.. Sugar substitutes react badly with my system :( . But on a bonus I burned 1500 calories yesterday out on a 3 hour trail…
