I think it's fine to drink a bit when you're going out, but be careful of some of the fruity mixed drinks. Also, some of the mixed shots (like Lemon drops or birthday cake) are PACKED with calories.

As far as weighing daily goes, I weigh myself daily, but if I gain a pound I'm not the type of person who would freak out or punish myself for it.
