If you look at nitrates in meat and cholesterol, etc. it makes sense to me to eat none of it and more fruits, veggies, beans, whole grains, etc. I will still eat eggs, cheese and milk but only in small quantities. I appreciate all of the feedback, thank you so much to everyone. Tonight I decided I would make some pea and carrot soup. I think if I plan ahead, then it should be pretty easy foodwise because I will have the ingredients on hand. I hate even touching raw meat. It seems more simple to make meatless meals, but we will see.

Excercise when you get a craving, drink lots of water, if it is still there grab something healthy to make up for the "bad" food. I always want sweet and salty, so instead of chocolate dipped pretzels I try to eat an apple or some gluten free chips, etc. Good luck.

Since I started MFP 3 months ago and started with a trainer I have lost 14lbs. Starting weight 227lbs and 5'1" tall. Mother of 4 and 27 years old. I hope in 3 months I will have lost another 14 and be under 200lbs. Haven't been that since my last child was born 5 years ago. In a year I hope to be at least 150lbs. or less…
