well it is going to be comfy sweater weather so I want to be wearing cute sweaters with cute skirts and feel tiny in them.
In a year I want to be a shining star in all that I do in life! More energy, more zest, more fun0 -
3 Months....I hope to still be logging my food, exercising, committed.
1 year from now--I'd like to actually crave exercise, log, and maybe be 50-70lbs.. lighter
I can't say a certain number on the scale...I lose slow...some weeks I do, others I gain a lb. or two.0 -
In three months I'll probably have lost the last 9 lbs. or so and be maintaining. It's been easy, fun, haven't ever been over calorie goal or fallen off the wagon. No binging, no cheat days. It's been slow because I wanted it slow. If I'm still at this same weight as today in three months or one year, hell, i'll still be happy with it.0

In 3 months end of October I would like to be 168 or lighter and in one year I would like to be a size 8 or 135 goal weight. Im working hard every day and I appreciate the opportunity to envision my goals.0

In three months, still trackiing food, and losing a lb a week on average. Continuing to slowly up my exercise routine so I don't get an injury and have an excuse to fall behind. Slow and sure is my motto this time. I've done the quick drop way and I always end up back as big or bigger that beforem not this time.
A year from now learning how to maintain since I will be at goal weight already.
I also on both occasions want to feel as good and happy as I do today.0 -
Thanks for the thread to provoke thought on goals.
By the end of October (3 months): Weigh 145lbs
Around February of next year: 130 lbs (goal weight?)
However, I'm going to be re-evaluating along the way to see how I'm feeling and looking. I have no idea what my goal weight should be.
Non-scale goal: To complete the New Rules of Lifting for Women program. Probably, this will be around February.
Non-scale goal: To pick a new road race to train for. Probably a half marathon, which is my favorite distance. I've always thought I'd do another marathon at some point, but they take an enormous amount of time to train for (correctly).0 -
In 3 months I want to be where many said I wouldn't! FIT > FAT :laugh:0

In 3 months I will have found a goal weight I am happy with where I look and feel super healthy. I will DEFINITELY weigh less than my husband - 2.5 lbs to go!
In one year I will be running 5k, not just jalking it, (knee trouble). I will have beautiful defined arms from my heavy dumbbells and firm thighs from all my squats. I will be wearing lovely, well fitting clothes and I will have a fabulous workout wardrobe. I will be going out more to show my body off.
I already am in normal BMI since Monday and I feel 30 years younger. I am 63 IRL.:laugh:0 -
In 3 months from now I want to be about 9 - 10 lbs lighter. I want to be able to control what going into my body and I want to be able to workout longer and harder.
In a year, want my eating habits to be second nature and be at my idea weight of 150. I also want to able to run a 5k with no problems.0 -
In three months, I want to be well on my way with progressive resistance training and beginning to show a bit of muscle definition.
In a year's time, I want to be healthy and happy and active, and developing my creative side instead of spending time logging my calories!0 -
I would like to lose 1-2 sizes in the next three months. I don't care so much about weight as I do how my clothes fit and the size. In one year, I hope to be 2-3 sizes smaller and maintaining my weight, toned and healthy.0

3 months - I'd like to be 15lbs lighter
1 year - I'd like to be at my goal weight of around 140lbs, and maintaining it. My current goal is 150lbs, which would put me at a healthy BMI (but only just) 135-140lbs would be ideal.0 -
In three months I would like to be down 15 pounds. In a year I would like to be close to goal. Maybe down 45 pounds!0
-
3 months to a year? Hmm....I'd like to see a whole new wardrobe with a smaller size tag. I doubt I'd get that. I'll probably have my old clothes, just tailored smaller. Getting a new wardrobe costs money that I don't have and having 3 people in one house that knows how to sew is a blessing when you need things tailored smaller.0

In 3 months I plan on having lost another 12 pounds with careful food choices and exercise. I plan on doing a 5k before the end of this year is over.0

Since I started MFP 3 months ago and started with a trainer I have lost 14lbs. Starting weight 227lbs and 5'1" tall. Mother of 4 and 27 years old. I hope in 3 months I will have lost another 14 and be under 200lbs. Haven't been that since my last child was born 5 years ago. In a year I hope to be at least 150lbs. or less and have a century (bike ride) under my belt and a 5K.0

I would love to be nearing 175 lbs in 3 months. I started Insanity a few days ago at 195, and I will have painfully but successfully finished it and somewhat recovered in 3 months :P
Also being a comfortable size 9/10 would be amazing (compared to 12/13ish now).
In a year I would love be at size 8/9, and 160-165 if that looks healthy on me (I'm 5'9").
and TONED!0 -
In 3 months I hope to be at maintenance! Only 10ish pounds to go. And in a year I hope to have a bun in the oven! That's what all of this is for...0
-
In 3 months: 9 pounds down to my goal weight & having run a 10K
In a year: having run my first half marathon

I have no doubt you guys can reach those goals!! stay strong!!!0

I'll be somewhere around maintenance in a month, maybe less.
So my 3 month and year goals will be the same for fat, maintain the loss. Which, I think, is in some ways the biggest challenge any of us who have been big will face.
On a different level I am aiming to live more in the moment, expand my horizons, need less and stress less generally. This is an ongoing goal.0 -
Three months from now, I would like to look in a mirror and not shudder, maybe think about taking a picture with my kids... at least 20 lbs less than now. I want to belong to a gym and actually go to it.
A year from now, I want to be around 190..... I want to want to wear makeup again and do things again. My goal is not to feel fat and ugly. (when I was a size 4... I remember saying I would rather die than be fat.... )
