Yes, you can. I thought for sure it wouldn't work but it does. I lost weight too! You don't have to eat it all back but it allows you to have a little fun with your food and not be quite so strict. Call it a reward for all your hard work!

NOTHING can take the place of chocolate!! I get my choc fix from 1 packet of "Swiss miss Dark Chocolate Sensations" add a little milk then hot water. Lasts longer than eating chocolate. Does the trick! (150 calories)

I've had friends who have tried some of the things you mentioned and they all gained weight back eventually. These are quick fixes that aren't for the long-term. If good health and weight loss are your goals, then healthy eating/calorie counting and exercise is the key. It takes time and patience. Hang in there!

There are an overwhelming amount of choices for curriculum out there, that's for sure! We are approaching our second year. I think I'll do Sonlight's history again as it covers several grade levels so you don't have to buy a separate curriculum for each child. I also love the literature that they cover and how that…

I'm finding that I easily go over my sugar limit too. I don't even think that I'm really going for sugary foods. Seems it's in most things! I think the key is to research and find things that you like that are low in sugar and stock up for the week. If you don't have some low sugar foods available, then you'll no doubt eat…

I really think that it is the last area to lose! I have 4 children and that's where I gained most of my weight! Totally understand your frustration! I drink Uncle Lee's Organic Green Tea (1 teabag steeped in 16oz boiled water for about 10 minutes) and then add 1 Tbsp of honey and stir well. If you don't want it hot, then let it cool down and then refrigerate. Tastes great either way! Totally compensates for my craving for a sugary drink. Now Coke isn't so appealing…
