This is a motivating website. Women tend to have distorted images of themselves, but view others more realistically. www.mybodygallery.com New Website Allows Users To See Bodies That Share Your Height And Weight My Body Gallery is just like it sounds — a searchable database of (mostly anonymous) photographs of women,…

Nice job everyone. Keep up the good work.

The scale didn't budge for me this week. I'm determined to see the numbers go down next week. Keep up the good work everyone. Your losses are very inspiring.

I think you're doing a great job. I don't have any new ideas, but if you think of something I can help with, I'd be glad to.

Wonderful news! :) I know you will accomplish all that you desire.

My heart goes out to you and your family. I know there isn't anything I can say that will make things better. I do think you are amazing, though. Just the fact that you are staying accountable for all your calories is huge. It shows you're a strong person and strong people will overcome anything. Hang in there. We're here…

Awesome points everyone. Thanks for your insight.

Wow! Awesome results. You're doing great. :)

You are so right. I often find myself feeling defeated after a slip up and then continue to eat badly the rest of the day. Today I ate a buttery croissant. Instead of stopping after just one, I proceeded to eat half of another. There goes a quick 500+ calories. bummer

koeniginhla ... Thanks for calculating all of this! I'm up .5 lb this week. No excuses, got to try harder. Where are my Group 9 hotties? We can do it!

Boo ... I gained this week. :(

Amazing results! Keep up the good work.

My all purpose stroller is a Phil & Ted's. Although it's not marketed as a true jogging stroller, it handles great on my walks and rougher terrain. It also has a doubles kit that you can add if you have a 2nd baby. The moms I know who are avid joggers swear by their BOB. Good luck on your search for a new jogging stroller.

Hello Hot Moms. I'm home but my body still feels like it's on vacation. ;) I had a really good time with my girlfriends in Cabo. We got lots of sun and ate a lot. Our resort was all inclusive, so I couldn't resist temptation. To say I indulged myself is an understatement. lol. Starting today, I'm re-committing to my diet…

Cool. I look forward to hearing about the results. Enjoy the extra calories!!

Hi. I'm so excited about this support group that Chari started. :) I'm 37 years old and 5'2". I'm mom to a wonderful 21 month old boy. He's my world. My goal is to lose 15 lbs by sticking to a 1200 calorie diet and daily exercise. My exercise of choice is walking, but I know I'll need to add strength training to my routine…

Great job! You're on the right track. :)

Thanks for posting this Chari. It's a great idea. Us moms will be great support to one another. You can count me in. I'm a mom to a 21 month old boy. I have no reason to still be carrying around this extra weight. Time for the pounds to melt off for good!!

That's a great idea! I hope you fit into your capris soon. You're on the right track!

Your son sounds very nice. You raised him right.

I seem to be surrounded by thin people. My husband thinks he's cursed with a fast metabolism. He works hard to gain weight. I only wish I had that problem. lol. Although I fall within healthy BMI and weight guidelines, I'm still chubby compared to most of my friends who wear size 2 or below. sigh. I guess my motivation is…

I don't know anything about it. I'm curious to know what you're told at your consult and if you get results. Keep us posted.

Chari. Thanks for sharing your story. You have a lot to be proud of. If you can accomplish all that you have, I know you can also reach your weight loss goals.

Stick with it. Joining MFP is a great step towards your weight loss goals. As a mother also, I understand the challenges you face. Friend me if you like. We can support each other.
-
I'll have to try it. Thanks for the tip.

I'd love to lose 15-20 lbs by December. My family is going to the beach for Christmas and I'd love to rock a cute swimsuit. I'm currently doing 30 day shred and walking when I can.

Make a special grocery shopping trip. Plan your meals for the next few days. Stock up on healthy foods so you have them on hand whenever hunger strikes. Keep a few snacks in your purse for emergencies.
-
I definitely have days like this. Tomorrow is a new day. Fresh start. :) Good luck.

I agree, you made the first step by joining MFP. It'll take a few weeks, but once you start losing pounds, you'll be motivated by your own success. It's just that the first few pounds don't always come easy. I'm patiently waiting for my weight to start going down. In the meantime, I'm watching my calories and diligently…
